Just played my first game of Lefty Loosey Mini-Season. I knew the format was all lefties but was still startled by the all lefty competition lol
I'm just curious, from peeps who have played deep into it or completed all together, what was your impression? Love it? Hate it? Did you feel like you got better at lefty-lefty match-ups?

I, like you, thought it was jarring at first. However, I think it was a really useful exercise for me to focus lefty/lefty. Plus, some good packs in there.

It is definitely worth completing for the rewards, the choice packs are Core cards that may be very valuable after the mini season expires.
And yes, I think it helped with my lefty lefty at bats.

Oh and one of the "mystery missions" is lose 5 games on rookie, so you literally just quit out of 5 games on rookie if you choose

As someone who absolutely sucks batting in a lefty/lefty situation (sliders away kill me), it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. It is definitely a good way to learn how to lay off those sliders away though. Im actually about 8 games into my second season because i want the lefty loosey pack but since we have til July 7th, im in no rush.

I have yet to finish my season but once I saw the names in my first Boost pack I was intrigued. So far I have completed a Classic season (decided to play it out after getting the Egg) but was unable to win the championship because for whatever reason I folded in the Championship series and lost 3 games to 1... smh.
I noticed that you can use righties and switch hitters/pitchers as long as they are bronze and common cards but wanted to get the true lefty/lefty experience and made sure every player on my team was a lefty hitter/pitcher... if I have time before July 7th I'll give it another go taking a closer look at attributes to see if I can get the best lefty vs lefty hitters available to me in my lineup.

Finished it last week. I spent half the season trying to find production out of my 2B and SS positions. No matter who I played there I generated no offense. The bullpen was tough to manage with the lack of available lefties. I enjoyed the season overall and the rewards were worth the short grind. The random CPU comebacks were frustrating a few times but otherwise not a terrible experience.

I've done well with CH Jazz at 2B, can't remember who I had at short,think it might have been a 3B with SS secondary.

I really liked the format for the first half of the mini-season. IMO the best team building exercise we've had since last year's bronze batter/silver pitcher mini-season. But then, for some reason, it became tedious. When I got disconnected twice during the finals, I sweated a bit but I ended up winning. I got my Mulder and I won't do it again. I don't think it's worth repeating for a single booster pack.
TA mini-season? Did it four times and loved it each time.

I want to say another Mini-Season is coming for Season 2 that will span Seasons 2 & 3.
