Too bad you never got a chance to see him. He was a show by himself, and on that A's team, that's saying something. I only saw him once in person when I was a kid, but I never again heard the pop in the catchers mitt quite like his.

He has a 99 award card- I think it’s from BR? Or Events. Anyway, I agree with you totally. I drafted him for my league and once I finish the LS, I’ll grab his card.

He was a stud at 21 years old. Won 20 games, pitched over 300 innings and had over 300 K's. I'm sure his early overuse cost him numbers and eventually HOF consideration. I have got his card ever since he has been in the game (17 I think)

You're right. Idk how I forgot that. I think it's a BR reward I think.

There are so many cards. I only remember because he’s on my league team and I need to buy him. His 85 collection reward is not bad for an 85.

I always like using him. I’m sure you are right. There is a great book about that 70s A’s dynasty called Dynastic, Bombastic, Fantastic. You’d like it.

I am hoping they will add a program this week, but I am afraid they will not want to cheapen his Battle Royale card. A small program that earns a 92 -97 would be nice. I know most people would skip it, but it would just be a nice way to celebrate his life.

If it's too close to his BR card they could always do a tribute later on in the year.
