Why can't I retire?

Been trying for 3 seasons to retire my RTTS character. Inhave told my agent its my last season all 3 times and every time I start the next season per usual. Am I doing something wrong?

I would submit a ticket. I am not on this year's game, but on the version I am playing have reached the point where I am ready to retire my player and start a new one but have not yet gotten the chance yet.
Is it number of years in MLB or age where you get your chance to retire?

I'm having the same problem. Idk maybe we're both mistaking, but I've looked everywhere and can't figure out how to.
