I’ve played this game every year it has come out and I’m trying to invest more time in DD this year, but was wondering is it just me or does it seem a tad bit overwhelming?

Between events, battle royale, conquest, all of the different card groupings, etc. It’s like I don’t even know where to start.

What’s the best way to ease into it with a solid understanding? It’s like I don’t even know where to begin.

I hear you. I don't get a ton of time to play and as soon as I start working and finishing grinding towards something there is another thing that I find myself grinding and working towards.

The amount of stuff to do keeps me from playing online ranked as much as I would like.

IMO the best way to get into any video game when you're just starting is to watch some YouTube videos. Typically the no money spent ones are more catered towards newer players.

I think I’m going the Online Rated route this year. My reasons are:

1 - Played a ton of MUT and starting a new grind on another UT game isn’t very exciting right now.

    2 - Work on my hitting/discipline.

3 - Gameplay is trash, especially the pitching. If I’m going to lose to little Billy it’s going to be in a game mode where your not fighting for rewards and what not. I’ll take my L to Billy and not feel too bad about it.

4 - Online Rated is more realistic with current teams and not super cards at every position.
