I'm trying to play against the singers and the game is saying you're opponent has an invalid and I don't want to restart all my progress and this is in the classic one.

Yea we’re gonna need you to go ahead and restart that mini season boss. You can report it in the pinned thread in the top of this page tho.
It sucks. I’ve had it happen to me twice now but luckily have had 5 go through complete with no issue.
