In game sound

So the last few days, I haven't had any sound while playing. Other games and apps have been fine through the Xbox and my speakers but nothing from the game. I've tried different settings and looked for updates but nothing works.

I have this issue on my PS5 quite often. I think it has something to do with the HDMI. Things will be fine and then when the splash screen comes up the sound cuts out and never comes back. I also have no issues with other games. I am pretty sure that I submitted a ticket for it last year but never heard back.
What works for me is to start the game and get to the main menu. If there is no sound I turn the TV off which also puts my PS5 into sleep mode. When The PS5 has settled into sleep mode I click the PS button on the controller and the PS5 boots up and turns on my TV. At that point once I select the user on the main screen it jumps straight into the game and I have sound in the game again (until next time).
The game seems to definitely be trying to change something up audio wise while on that splash screen
