Stuck in a moment… and you can’t get out of it?

Mark McGwire hit 2 home runs in one game, he swings a soggy wet noodle for a bat, warning track power and nothing but o sure you may be able to get one home run but good luck getting the second, everything is hit on the ground or like i mentioned earlier to the warning track.

This Derek Jeter card is so bad for me it’s scary
My first perfect prefect i hit with him was tp deep center field, sure thing right? Nope center fielder came out of nowhere for a diving catch, i almost quit out right after that, i got it on the next try. Double off the center field wall and a hit just over the second basemans head.

I saw that moment and laughed
-
I feel this McGwire moment should have been in extreme program. Guy is horrible. Even most his P/P are line drives for singles.

So for whatever reason the McGwire moments were easy and I had been hoping maybe it wasn’t just me and they changed his swing or something. Oh well.

I think this is the same swing his STL captain card has. It's still not great but better than the Oakland collection card.

I quit the 1 homerun after about 20 tries because I can’t hit against Kyle Hendricks as is. I haven’t launched the 2 homeruns.

That one was brutal, line drives and singles for days. I think it barely scraped the wall when i finnaly got one.

I had 3 perfects before one finally went out.

Have you joined the dark side and started using directional?
For all power moments regardless of the hitter, use directional, hold up on the left stick and swing with power. Just focus on one grid of the plate and swing only when it’s there.

I’d like to thank the community who had made this thread a perfect place for us all to vent our moment frustrations and somehow topple them as a result. It’s not perfect, but works for me most of the time.
Tonight, I decided to make it a moments night. So be prepared for controllers to be thrown and several rants in here to absolve me of my moments block.
-
Alright gents- I’m going into the Tommy Edman moment. If I don’t make it out, tell my story
The thread is magic. 4th pitch!!!! Straight away center.
-
Ok, I realize I’m talking to myself right now.
Jasson Dominguez. Please stop being so awful in Your moment. Perhaps it’s because your folks misspelled your name. Or because you’re a Yankee and therefore it’s your job to spite me.
I need you to just rock one out. Please and thank you.
-
@Ericulous1_PSN, I know it’s many hours later, but did you get the Dominguez moment?
I kept track of how many times it took me to get moments this last time. The Mauricio moment took me 14 tries. This Dominguez one was next with around a dozen.

Yes, this is the best thread ever! I’ve certainly done my share of ranting and raving here
And I am very thankful this is the place to do it!

Over 40 tries so far with Edman so I'm posting in here hoping Hader will hang a slider
-
I got so mad with the Mountcastle 3 hit moment yesterday, kept getting 2 hits and then the cpu would start throwing balls and send in yumi garcia, or Jay Jackson and just start pitching inside for populs or light groundouts (hit into at least 2 perfect perfect double plays). Was finally able to slide a hit through second and first base for ny 3rd hit but i think it took me at least 15 attempts

I need to make a list of things that make me shake my head, all since Season 4 started
The Great Race of 98. Featuring Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa
And the friggin Mark McGwire moment to recreate #62 is with a pitcher that barely throws strikes and throws nothing above the waist and nothing over 85 MPH.
I’ve tried it 20 times. I’m done. Not even gonna try the 2 homer moment.
I mean, I’m just shaking my head. The MAIN dude in this program has skippable moments!
Seriously, SDS. Seriously. Why bother putting him out there? No words. None. No, I take it back. I have a few. Not fit for this thread though.
It’s like they are trying to run us off. That’s all I got.

Scott Barlow is the greatest pitcher ever facing me
My inability to hit a homer with Kike against him is laughable
