I had a game where Jeter had a game tying hit in the 11th, a game tying hit in the 13th, and a game winning hit in the 15th. I feel I deserved the moment for that one, HR or no.
They could have at least thrown a lefty pitcher for the Jeter/Judge moments.

I'm not complaining because I did it in 3 tries but I promise I will never ever use Fernando in a game. His pitches are all over the place and I thank the CPU for swinging at stuff that went way out of the zone nowhere where I aimed them.
I hate Jeters swing but thanks to a hanger I got that done before rage set in.

I hit the first ball pitched to Jeter over wall in left center….until JRod decided to time his jump perfectly and rob me. I took that as an omen but got it soon after. Man can that Jeter card run reminded me of doing that Sosa London moment a few weeks back he ran like greased lightning

Eziquel Duan, come on. Can Tarik Skubal throw a strike? This is painful. I'm having to swing at balls becauae it will go to a 3-0 count and of course it's just singles or doubles.

Finally got it on the 4th attempt

If it’s the same one that I’m thinking of that outfielder had literally been brought in for defensive purposes just a few pitches before he made that catch. Is that the one? I remember floundering around on my floor after I saw that wishing I had someone there to go crazy with haha

Yep, he makes the home run robbing, perfect game saving catch and as he’s falling, the ball comes loose and he catches it with his bare hand. Disney may have been involved in the scripting of that ending.

Not stuck but I had the game rip me off twice trying to get 6 Total Bases. Twice.
Both times I hit an obvious double, first time down the LF line to the wall and the second time gapped the OF and it went to the wall. Easy doubles. BUT, both time the runner from from first got thrown out at the plate and the game credited me with a single. (5/6) Total Bases - Failed.

That is definitely an annoying loophole in moments. I’ve had several times I get a double but because the throw was slightly off second I get credit for a single. Or they throw to another base like you mention. I have gone exclusively to using directional for moments. Make them as painless as possible.

I’m doing the Martin Dihigo set of moments trying to finish the negro league moments today and just came to my first HR moment with him. I got a not so fresh feeling about this one. The Jackie Robinson moments nearly proved my complete and total mental undoing

Ok, this is very funny. I am cleaning up some Topps Now Moments I haven’t done from April (I know, I’m way behind). I am trying the Bryce Turang Moment. (Remember that one?)
Anyway, on my 5th try. So far, I’m 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 triples and 12 rbi. Just not a homer!

I knew there was a reason I skipped this one the first time. I give up on a Monent after 10 tries. I don’t believe they should take even that long. (But that is a rant that if you look up my posting history I’ve gone on many times)
Anyway, after 10 tries: 7-8 with 4 doubles, a single, 2 triples and about 20 rbi.
The guy sprays line drives everywhere. Just not hit homers.
Ridiculous, frankly.
Skipping again!!

Partner you did the right thing posting on this thread! Relief is on it way. I’ve also found that exiting completely out of the game (to the console OS) and rebooting the game also helps in sprinkling in enough digital magic to right the old ship.

I’m sure EVERYONE has done this one long ago, but the April Topps Now Drew Smyly moment appears to have gotten “easier”.
It says basically: 3 innings, 4 K’s and no baserunners.
As soon as I struck out the 4th guy, the moment was over. Way sooner than 3 innings!!
