They've always done it like this. In the past you got a diamond LS card for making WS and I think that's fair. If you're about the rewards and you're able to reach CS, I advise you to just play events where every 12 win run will net you diamond. Easy money. I knocked out the LS collections last year within a month without spending a dime and by only playing events.
