Elite Series Core Controller | Jittery/Laggy Pinpoint/PCI
-
I tried to do a deep dive seeking out prior posts pertaining to the Elite Series Xbox controllers to see it there is a way to fix/update/etc a controller before I decide to return this brand new Elite Series Core Controller which i use on my Xbox Series X.
It has that bug where you cannot smoothly pitch via pinpoint due to a jittery/laggy feeling movement. PCI seems jacked up too.
I have about 4 Xbox controllers, 2 of them do not have this issue, but they're a little worn/and was hoping to update to something more premium.
I saw some confusing dialogue on another forum saying I can possibly override the Xbox controller firmware update that my controller received the first time I connected today?
Idk. Just need to be able to have smooth pinpoint & PCI or else this controller is going back asap.
Greatly appreciate any help! Again, I have the Core Elite (white and black Xbox controller) not the all black. Although I'm told they are essentially the same.
Thanks.

Yeah man. Just hoping SOMEONE out there has some answers.
I should have pointed out also that I play WIRED, never wireless when playing MLB The Show (regardless of which controller I am using.)

Wired on xbox is the only way to go. Wireless you get the jumpy PCI.

I would agree...but as mentioned, being wired is not resolving my issue. I play wired always. This brand new top of the line controller encountering this issue is a shame, and sad to have return it...
Update tho - I've just reverted the firmware update on my controller...I doubt this will achieve anything. But trying that now.
