MLB THE SHOW 23 ISSUES

Can somebody explain to me why this games feels old and worst than last season? I feel that I'm getting a recycle game with a new cover.
Issue: Runners give up on ground balls causing outs if the infield makes an error.
Issue: Narrator called the play safe but the game though it was an out.

Issue: Orioles V RedSox showing up on the scoreboard when they aren't involved.
Issue: The baserunner box when using any pitcher facing setting when the only runner is at second base.

Issue: Going for an over the wall catch and managing to knock it back on to field but negating the robbery by running at the wall until the hitter gets an inside the park homer.

Issue: When canceling a throw, player takes forever to through to another base causing runners to move up or score.

i have a few players that make the fram rate drop a [censored] ton when they are at bat or maybe it just happens randomly. I did have one player that it dropped frames every pitch (Cory Julks? TN card) i pinch hit after the first pitch after i noticed this in several ABs with him, and then the frame rate was normal again.
I also played a ranked seasons game and it kept making the pitches go high and inside, when i was trying to pitch down and in...it was consistently doing that with Johnny Cueto (but it may of been just that game and the laggy connection but it was awful)

Mini seasons is still screwed up as well. Oh well, they got our money. What do they care?

I feel that San Diego studio is ripping us off. They should just have updates every year similar to what Fornite does. We need to stop this madness.

Nothing will change until the streamers and kids stop spending money on stubs.

The universal opinion from the non-gatekeepers is all they really do is change the sliders from time to time. Likely the same core game we've been playing for 10 years. Maybe it's just way too difficult for them to overhaul the code and start from scratch. Well, just not "cost effective".

I haven’t had too much of an issue with how this game plays, but with all the little errors and bugs, 23 seems really sloppy and unpolished. Wrong teams on the scoreboards, stats and pitch counts disappearing and reappearing, a confusing UI, having to reset the API every game, etc. I enjoy how the game plays, but all the other things are incredibly annoying and take away from the experience a bit.

You got Negro Leagues, you should not complain. Maybe re-education camp will teach you to never talk bad about SDS. Off to the gulag with you!

That’s why I only buy every few years. I got ‘23. Before that I had ‘20. Before that I had ‘17. I didn’t plan it to be exactly 3 years but that’s how it worked out.

Does anyone else here play offline diamond dynasty using timed hitting?
Wondering if anyone else is having issues with your hitters missing pitches down the middle even with good timing?
Seems like the patch may have broken timing hitting but might just be me

Issue: when playing online with a friend, both teams are not playing at the same time of day. It might be nighttime for me while he is dealing with sun glare and shadows. FIX THIS!

But seriously, this game is so buggy. SDS shouldn't be our only option to play an MLB game. This is what happens when there is no other competition. Sadly though we all know a EA version would probably be worse.
EA refused when 2K gave up the rights, they said we want baseball but not at the price MLB is asking.

I still can’t believe the custom logos not showing up on jerseys or on the scoreboard is still a thing.

Scoring issue: Pitcher throw 7 2/3 leaves 0-0 game. No scoring till top of 9th still gets win. Seen 2 other instances where pitchers of record were wrong. Pitchers getting losses when they aren’t responsible for the runners left on base .

I'm kinda getting tired of hearing the same exact announcer say the same exact thing for the past 3 years lol

The announcers are just terrible. They could have cut costs somewhere else, honestly. It’s not just the repetitiveness— they’re uninteresting and way less interactive with what’s happening.
