Freeze off?

So I finally got a good BR run going, currently on a 6-0 card. Scoreless in the top of the 3rd and I hit a lead off triple. As I’m rounding second base, the game conveniently freezes… So my question is this simply coincidence or is my opponent manipulating his connection and simply waiting me out on the other end? I am hardwired and have a good connection for what it’s worth. Does it do me any good to keep waiting? If I restart the game will I take the L?

If it makes you feel any better, your matchup slider would’ve been different and you might’ve faced better people.
