How do you view the batter's card this year?

Previous years you can press the right trigger and the batter's card shows up.
this year you can't do it that way. anyone know the new way?

Pause, Y or Triangle and triggers left or right. That’s how I do it.

I keep seeing this but that hasn't worked for me once, ever. I have to pause, then triangle then scroll. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Also on PS5

If you press on the right dpad right away when the batter gets in the batters box, it should show you the batter card as well as the pitcher card.

If you're trying it during Moments, this doesn't work. Just like Down on the DPad doesn't bring up the quick menu during moments...I know it was the same thing in Showdowns Last year, but I think they actually fixed that this year?

Doesn't work for me in any mode. Moments, Conguest, Play vs CPU, nothing.
If you want to view the card, like how it was last year, where it shows a picture of the card and the parallel level; you have to pause the game and select the button used to bring up the pitcher's card (triangle on PS. Not sure on Xbox or Switch) and then R2 to bring up the batter's card.
Hitting right on the joypad only brings up a few stats.

Yeah, I'll never understand why they take features out. I liked being able to press R2/RT/ZR to see the player card as well as what they've done in their previous at-bats. I also miss being able to push left on the d-pad to see the contact, power, and I think it was speed of the current batter and the next 2 batters.
Also, why do swing types take precedence over the pitcher's repertoire? We don't need a constant reminder on screen that shows what buttons do what swings. It has got to be the stupidest UI update this year.

You can change the last part in Settings. I think it's under Display.

I have a habit of pushing the right trigger during every at bat, hitting or pitching and I swear I've been playing all day and this is the first time since it released that R2 has showed the batters card and stats(not ratings).

Just unpaused and went back pitching and now the R2 is showing the ratings of my opponent. Gonna wait to get back on offense to finish post. Yup still getting the stats.

I was just able to for the first time during a conquest game. Try it again and see what happens. For reason only when batting. Just noticed something. Maybe a player has to have a certain number of at bat's. Not sure tho

Right trigger now brings up the batters card in addition to pitch info,changed in the last patch I think.right on the d pad still brings up both pitcher and hitter card and their quirks (except in moments)

SDS loves pausing for some reason.
There are so many things that could be made seamless like warming up the bullpen. I can do it in seconds with the quick menu .
