Well you are dealing with multiple Wi-Fi’s there. One bad one can kill it.
Multiple wifi’s? Most people are wired and still get freeze off’s.
If there are 4-6 people, someone is on bad Wi-Fi.
You’re normally playing with and against people in your same region or continent, I don’t know anyone trying to play any game competitively off a McDonalds wifi or a hotspot or just wifi in general. Late into ‘22’s life cycle there was an influx of freeze off’s, which included hardwired users.

It’s all RNG based still, especially in BR. You know what someone is up to when you go up 7-0, You know the story, guy can’t buy a hit…then POOF…magically your balls that you hit now die at the track and of course the opponent learns to hit and comes back with every single hit floating with boosted exit velo with perfectly placed hits in gaps and then come the forced errors with good feedback, and their 52 powers start hitting rockets out of the zone and every thing is fouled off. It’s the same script over and over
Definitely feels RNG more this year than previous years. Either off the ball stats are wack or it's pay to win. Feels like me and my opponents have been getting the same exit velo/launch angle, but with much different results. And I'm basing it off watching their HRs and what my PCI location/launch angle shows when I'm batting.

I disagree. While I am not playing this years version, there are still too many toxic players online, which takes a lot of the fun out of it.
I would much rather play offline and avoid the toxic ones, but because I still have to unlock a lot of cards via online requirements I have to play online still.
Because I am about a 300-400 level player, they sometimes are able to steal games from me. I have started to not care about wins and losses and focus on "well, I got whipped but at least I finished this much towards program x"
The only thing worse than the toxic players are the 900 level players who created new rosters and are starting in the lower levels to "SmaSh NoObs" I swear the "get gud" crowd is actually worse.
But regarding OP's comments, a top tier player can beat most rosters with golds and silvers as easily as with a roster of overpowered 99's.

I’ve only played 14 ranked games, but it feels like most people are looking to take walks instead of hit. I wish I was that patient.

it is awful, but im on ps4 so maybe thats the reason?
and im definitely not undefeated lol, i rage quit if the game seems to be screwing me. Especially on those perfect perfect 98 MPH warning track shots lol

I honestly had felt that online was better this year and in a lot of ways I still think it is, but there is a "pitcher confidence" element that is really challenging to overcome this year. I haven't had as much trouble dealing with it in Ranked because higher diamond starters seem to take longer to start having control and or confidence issues and it is a little easier to plan for. BR on the other hand is really hard and I have definitely experienced it on both ends. If you get a few hits in a row or draw a walk, it makes it almost impossible to pitch. It is like a magnet pulls it to the center or way out of the zone. You can be just a few batters into the game and it is flashing that the pitcher is tired and you just can't try to work through it. The three batter minimum really complicates it.
