How to get better with pci placement?

See ball, hit ball. Focus on seeing the ball out of the hand and track it. I start in the middle, but do whatever is comfortable. I used to start inside because I struggled with inside pitches on my tv.

No doubt....you have to track it as soon as it leaves the pitcher's hand. Focus only on the ball as it moves towards the plate. I
t's so easy, a blink or looking at the pitcher instead of the ball, to just "blend" the pitch into the rest of the screen and not really pick it up until it's on top of you. Not a lot of success if you do that.

Quick q: when people say "track the ball" are you literally moving the PCI with the ball then striking when the time is right; or moving the PCI to where you think the ball will end up, then striking when the time is right?
