Should I use live core players in DD?

I’m new to DD and don’t know if I should use the live core diamond players? I’ve pulled a bunch for sets. But it seem the players have better cards then their live cards.

You can set your team up however you want. Imo, if there is a better card to use, then use it. The cool thing about the core cards is they will be good all year long. Set 1 cards fall off when set 3 starts.

The live series cards can be supercharged to 99 for real world performances.

Try out everything. I am a Sox fan and have Devers at 3rd, and he performs well. I am using Duvall and he is supercharged, performing well. I also like Captain Bryce Harper. IMO, the game is what you want it to be. Strasburg is also very good

I was wondering can set 1 be used all year offline in play versus cpu? I know they won’t be useful in conquest maps though right?

Play vs cpu has no lineup restrictions, some CQ maps will some won't, some mini seasons will some won't.
