More likely that the game when setting up a new season was choosing players for the opposing teams that weren't eligible for the Mini Season. I've seen it with my own team when it randomly generates a squad and I have to go in a fix it before starting the first game. Guessing the the Lords mostly were adding players that were not allowed tn the TA and Lefty mini seasons specifically after the update. This is why I wanted to play the Lords first, to make sure I got a roster for that team that had the most issues that worked.
I'm not SDS, so I cant confirm any of this, but the fact that I was able to get through it was good.

They don't "choose players". They pull other players' rosters. Those rosters contained, still contain, and will continue to contain ineligible players (such as RPs changed to SPs). They VERY likely didn't do, much less fix, anything, they just assumed restarting would work, because apparently they don't even understand how the mechanics of their own game work. Until they actually DO something about it (and you will know when they do, because the solution sure as hell won't be "just restart bro"), this is VERY likely going to keep happening, and get worse every single week. They either need to not have a validity check for the CPU teams or scrap the whole "other players' teams" BS and just generate random squads, which can be rerolled if they become invalid.

That's true for standard mini seasons, but i dont think thats the way TA and Lefty loosey work. I think those rosters arent pulled from "other players" because there would be many cases where other random teams would not have enough players to fill a roster. So they (SDS) would need to use standardized rosters to insure they worked.

Community managers are supposed to represent and help the community. We aren’t getting anything close to that outta @CBrev47_MLBTS . We are now going on almost one week of him saying it was fixed and it clearly is still not.

what do you expect putting your faith into random streamers on the internet? this group of entitled nerdy gamers is way overrated - get a good support case worker for SDS that can actually answer emails personalized than copy/pasta replies - far more effective

While we were able to correct this error for new seasons, we were unable to do so for seasons that were already in progress.
This means that if you started a season before today’s update, and are receiving this error message when trying to play, you will need to restart your season.Your latest update is wrong. Just restarted my season today only to run into the same issue yet again. The least you can do is correct this

I was able to get through an entire TA Mini Season last night (See early messages) with no issues/error after restarting the season 2 days ago. I restarted the season until I made certain it began with the London Lords, so I could quickly know with the Lords roster worked, and I had no issue after. Maybe I just got lucky? who knows.
You 100% would have need to restart the season after the update. Even if you had not started playing the season, but didn't restart it, you;d likely still have the invalid roster issue (most like with the Lords).
Based on the responses, it seems kind of random too me (which is frightening and understandable why folks are so frustrated). Are most of the issues still with the Lords?? Or are other teams also having the issue?
If you start with the Lords and they are good, seems like the chance of completing the season is much higher.....

It's with the Lords and I restarted my season this morning. Going to try restarting again until I get them first instead of trusting @CBrev47_MLBTS this time

I’ve only had it happen with the singers, everytime I restart a season know I make sure they and the lords are in my first 6 games played so I can get to them quick and not waste time. So far I’ve finished every season with no issues doing this. Probably 7 or so now.

Is it safe to play this mode today? Yesterday people were still getting invalid rosters.
It's been safe for me, thankfully! Just one more mini seasons to go and I should have all of team affinity done, and Mr Chipper Jones will finally join my team.
I enjoyed mini seasons the 1st time through, but it's been absolutely pointless ever since.
Next year SDS needs to implement more modes to get TA done. I'd rather do unlimited Showdowns than this. It was a grind I did not enjoy at all.

I wonder if super low rating has anything to do with this. Maybe any team 80+ won't have this issue?
Mine bugged out on 72 Kaiju, does anyone else remember what the rating of the team was?
