They don’t care. It’s been 3 days and no acknowledgment or anything.

Testing continues: I am up to game 23 in my current TA mini Season after re-starting ALL mini seasons several times last night. Have gotten past both series with the Lords not gotten the error yet. Off to dinner now, but going to try to finish this tonight....

It is nice that you are updating us on your progress,, but restarting seasons and hoping is not my plan A. We really need an update from SDS. They must know by now their announcement on Friday was incorrect. They should be booing themselves for not communicating.
Just to be clear, I still love the game. -
Well, I need to see if their response is indeed correct. That perhaps that is why they haven't responded. I am now to the final series of the regular season with no error.
Edit: Have now made the playoffs. No error!!!

Their response is incorrect despite your success. Many people in this forum have restarted and they had the invalid roster message pop up again.

Final Update: Was able to complete Semi Finals and Finals of TA Mini Seasons with no errors after restarting season on all mini seasons yesterday. This is good news, as while I won't get the 10+ hours I lost back, at least I feel somewhat confident now in playing this mode going forward (at least for now). Good luck all......

Sorry one test isn't enough to grind out the 25 games I lost already. I want confirmation from the source, they owe it to the game and use but don't expect them to cater to use. The game is excellent, but when this happens, it is big, especially when you only play offline. If you play online mostly, this means nothing I would imagine. Since this has happened I have been toying around with Franchise mode to maybe get a season going. Still tinkering with the setting to make it more realistic. But still would like to fit in DD for the fun it sometimes brings. SDS is now in control of which mode I will play more of.

Can you walk us through your process of your multiple restarts of all the mini seasons? I know it seems pretty straight forward, but I want to make sure I do what you have done if I am going to wade back into the mini seasons landscape

Can you walk us through your process of your multiple restarts of all the mini seasons? I know it seems pretty straight forward, but I want to make sure I do what you have done if I am going to wade back into the mini seasons landscape
I just restarted a few times so that I led off with the Lords. Just hold down the X button on each one until it resets. I wanted to test that their roster worked first. Seems like most of the people having issues likely hadnt started Mini seasons prior to last friday, but possibly didnt reset rosters, which may be leading to them having issues. I don't know for sure, but having tested it myself, I feel better about it.

Started a new mini seasons today. Error happens when playing the lords so this obviously isn’t fixed from after the patch.

More likely that the game when setting up a new season was choosing players for the opposing teams that weren't eligible for the Mini Season. I've seen it with my own team when it randomly generates a squad and I have to go in a fix it before starting the first game. Guessing the the Lords mostly were adding players that were not allowed tn the TA and Lefty mini seasons specifically after the update. This is why I wanted to play the Lords first, to make sure I got a roster for that team that had the most issues that worked.
I'm not SDS, so I cant confirm any of this, but the fact that I was able to get through it was good.

They don't "choose players". They pull other players' rosters. Those rosters contained, still contain, and will continue to contain ineligible players (such as RPs changed to SPs). They VERY likely didn't do, much less fix, anything, they just assumed restarting would work, because apparently they don't even understand how the mechanics of their own game work. Until they actually DO something about it (and you will know when they do, because the solution sure as hell won't be "just restart bro"), this is VERY likely going to keep happening, and get worse every single week. They either need to not have a validity check for the CPU teams or scrap the whole "other players' teams" BS and just generate random squads, which can be rerolled if they become invalid.

That's true for standard mini seasons, but i dont think thats the way TA and Lefty loosey work. I think those rosters arent pulled from "other players" because there would be many cases where other random teams would not have enough players to fill a roster. So they (SDS) would need to use standardized rosters to insure they worked.

Community managers are supposed to represent and help the community. We aren’t getting anything close to that outta @CBrev47_MLBTS . We are now going on almost one week of him saying it was fixed and it clearly is still not.

what do you expect putting your faith into random streamers on the internet? this group of entitled nerdy gamers is way overrated - get a good support case worker for SDS that can actually answer emails personalized than copy/pasta replies - far more effective

I did have hope that having a Community manager for this game would be totally different than what it looks like at 2k/madden etc. yeah I was dead wrong. what is funny is he dosent have a large following at all, so you’d think it would be more easy to contact him with issues etc etc. yeah nah
