Contact hitters

With contact hitters I know that the pci contact is prone to be towards the bottom as opposed to power hitters where its at the top. Are you supposed to contact swing with guys like ty cobb and roberto alomar to get more base hits at higher levels in cs and ws?

Only contact swing if you're down 2 strikes with 2 outs. That's an inning extending swing

I contact swing sometimes. Contact swing is more effective (and more powerful) than people give credit.

I contact swing when using guys with high contact and low power. Otherwise hard hit balls just end up as hard outs. I've had all kinds of bloop hits with Ozzie Smith and Byron Buxton.

Buxton has some really sneaky power tho, I would definitely normal swing with buxton. He just got me a 3 run walk-off home run in ranked seasons against 96 Rollie Fingers lol. He has 10 homers for me in 60 ABs
