Draft Pick Bug?

Playing a franchise with the Cubs and just one day in August the three remaining draft picks I were close to signing suddenly disappear. Made the playoffs and now the next season I go to scout and it says I have no draft picks with $0 allotment.

It’s not a bug, or at least when it comes to signing picks. You only have until August 1st to sign players. The scouting issue is something I haven’t come across yet though.
