Increasing attributes broken?

I couldn't get my fastball velocity over 37, so I haven't played in a few weeks. Have they fixed this yet? I see someone was stuck at 40, I might still play if that were my situation. Anyone else able to progress past 37?
Probably not but I'd love to be wrong. I want to go back to pitching or play my 2-way but if you don't want broken RTTS stats you have to be a position player for now. Pretty lame.
-
Still not fixed for me either. I emailed support and put a ticket and someone responded that I need to uninstall and reinstall the game which I did however it did not work...
-
Pretty sure they're done with '23 aside from their scam lootboxes. RTTS is an afterbirth to them if they can't bother to fix something as blatantly broken and integral as pitching progression. What a shame and not what I ever expected out of this series after so many years.
-
Impressive how this is still not fixed really just sad atp.

Is the attributes problem fix for Road To The Show

No, still broken.

I can’t even get them to respond to me on report a bug feature.

It’s now August…

Still broken

Is this an issue on both PS5 and Xbox?

On all platforms yes.

It seems one-way players are pretty much screwed as they made all the benefits for 2 way pitchers/batters...
My closer is stuck at 90 and at 36 I guess he's gonna start declining... Too bad but he money He's made in his 16 years and the fact he's a shoe in HOF with over 800 saves... I guess that should make me happy! -
@ChicagoLegend-55
You got to 40! I'm stuck at 37It sure would be nice to be able to purchase with stubs pitching archetypes instead of only 2...

I think people need to file suit against games like this. Especially those of us who preorder and spend our hard earned money buying more expensive editions of the game with the expectation it will be a full game and only getting what equals to a demo version when over half the consumers cant upgrade attributes past a certain point because they refuse to fix the game in a timely manner hoping that people will pour the same money in the next years game. And then there's the fact people who have made support tickets for this going back months and they are still unwilling to fix the issue for people who have paid money for this game. I paid for a complete product and did not recieve one. Most people might feel its nothing big enough to file suit over but if you lay down and die they will continue stepping on you. So im considering it at this point.

Good luck getting a lawyer when the defense is simply, "that's the way the game was meant to be." If you do get one, they would lose. If for some reason Sony settled, all monies would go to the lawyers. If it actually, by some miracle, went to court, the first question asked would be, "did you purchase it the next year?" Then, "did you still play the game?" Waste of time and money. If you want to waste your time and money go ahead. First thing you will need is a law degree or, harder still, a lawyer willing to fight for a losing cause.
-
Nothing increased once I hit around 36/37(attribute progression, not age), Pitching, hitting, or defence.
-
@broken_toy1 Why assume all money would go to lawyers if there was a win. Theres no basis for that assumption being you cant know the outcome of a suit before its done. And lets say it did go to the lawyers, for me being someone whos played these games from the begining money would not be the point. If i broke even on a win it would still be fine.It would be about bringing a much larger focus on an issue in video games. Companies would eventualy have to face the issues or lose a larger chunk of money than they think they are saving. A few companoes jave already found this out. Its easy to give up because some things seem rediculous. And thats why they will never change. There maybe people for whom it might be a waste of time but there are also people who have the extra time.

"Why assume all money would go to lawyers if there was a win[?]"
I was speaking on a settlement. I don't know if you've ever been invited to be a part of a class suit similar to the one you are suggesting. I have, more than once. The fine print usually says something to the affect of, "if any damages are recovered, legal costs will be paid first, followed by named class plaintiffs. The remainder will be divided between the rest of the class." I'm not a lawyer, and don't pretend to be. These are my experiences. Lawyers require to be paid. I have been sued before and a good lawyer is worth the money, but I gave him a retainer before he lifted a pen.In the end, you would be asking for a lawyer to work for free because you weren't satisfied with game you purchased. I bought half a dozen games this past year, I'm picky, and I was only satisfied with four. That's what happens when you buy a game. You take a chance that you'll enjoy it. That's also why you have to agree to the "terms of service" before you are allowed to play it.
As I said before, you are welcome to try to find a lawyer, but know that, for this, it'll be easier to get your own law degree than a lawyer willing to work for free.
If you are that dissatisfied, don't buy 24. That's the best way to make your money work for you. This isn't like the "loot boxes" suits.

Wellp looks like it’s still broken in 24. My 4sfb velo is stuck in 37 no matter how much I improve it.
-
So my guess the won’t fix the attribute problems again so I’m uninstalling I will check back here for updates. Good think I didn’t buy the game
