Hey SDS. Daily exp cap?

Why would you have a daily cap on exp? Is it to prevent exp exploits? I'm grinding the United States conquest map and I get this message I have reached my daily exp cap. Won't get anymore exp for two hours? I don't remember this "feature" in past The Show games.
Please tell me this is to prevent exploits and not punishment for playing normally....

There has always been an XP cap. And from what I've heard the cap is the same that it has been in the past.

I reached the exp cap a few times last year on rainy days of grinding.

XP cap was implemented like two years ago.

XP cap was implemented like two years ago.
It's always been there, but XP was a secondary thing before MLB 21 so no one ever noticed. 19 and 20 had inning programs that you earned program stars. The XP was just something in the background. And it was pretty much at an unreachable level without exploits before

yes? its bc in 2021 where there was a program that carried beyond programs like rewarded ppl for xp with kluber that was based purely on xp. I recall ppl having home run derby on for days before the inning program would drop and would instantly get hundred of thousands of xp and the new bosses. imo the cap should be more refined where it can filter xp from DD vs road to the show etc but still I guess rather have it than not

I had covid in February and while quarantining in my basement, played the show 22 for the first time in probably 3-4 months. I played for probably 12 hours, it wasn't until maybe 11 pm and my 12th hour of playing that i hit the cap for the first time ever. I don't know what the cap is specifically, but it seems to be designed well to allow you to play more or less as much as you want but to avoid exploits. I know some people had previously found ways to unlock season bosses on the xp path in a matter of hours, so this is one option to prevent that to some degree.

I did spend like 10+ hours doing Negro League, ranked, and conquest with no breaks. I guess that's a thing. I never seen that cap message the past two games so it was new to me.
