I like the idea of the survey but

I think the survey is great they allow everyone to have a voice. Dont understand why they choose content tho. No one really complains about it and everyone says it's great. Presentation is great. There's a lot going for the game. However the gameplay is the issue for the majority of players whether its hitting and pitching. Or fielding and baserunning glitches/problems. The game is great in most aspects. If they really want to improve the game they should start with gameplay. Maybe they will do one in the future but they should have started with the glaring issues.

If I had to guess I’d say they chose content because they have data for hitting and pitching. Whether we agree with them or not they can go back and see how many people got X hits on Y mode and make adjustments. Also, I think everyone can agree that fielders not locking in routine fly balls is bad, no need for a survey there. There is no other way for them to know whether we are enjoying the content other than to ask.

I think the point of the surveys is with no MLB season currently they testing the waters for what the player base might like to see. For example if 60% of surveys for single player content indicate they want a VS CPU to beat all 30 teams on say all star then they can build something around that.
I think they already have ideas on what to do but the survey could help them decided when to release things as well maybe someone provides and idea they didn't consider or presented it in a better way.

I filled it out as an Offline only player. I think there have been some great ideas floated around here on various posts, but this is a way to consolidate all those. After finishing it, I ended up thinking, the content in general is pretty [censored] good overall as is and would take it over the top if they simply had a way to toggle Ranked Seasons, Events, Dailies, and Prestige to "offline-only" modes as well. However that shakes out. Also weekly conquest maps, at least this.

With showdown, they should add where you pay an extra 500 stubs to start where you lost to give you two shots at it.

Great minds think alike, I said the same thing. I think I phrased it as, have different challenges pop up on subsequent playthroughs, like "beat all NL West teams on X difficulty or better to get X reward" and so on.

I did mention Derek Jeter a lot.. I also mentioned 90’s legends a lot too... in spite of steroids baseball was so much fun to watch in the 1990s
