I can play on every level my guy. I switched to rookie because the game got boring and all I care about is wins at this point to keep up with the “top” players.
I’ll gladly welcome a more fair ranking system and leaderboard like Madden has but until that happens there’s literally no point in playing at a higher level.
As far as cheating goes yeah it sucks but unfortunately no use bitching about it when SDS made it abundantly clear they only care about DD. I’ve given up crying about this game.

I’ve been using the edge for a while now it’s nice. Changing my stick settings has helped me a lot with hitting

Wait in online ranked you can set your own difficulty!? Do you go in knowing what your opponents difficulty is on?

Yes. You will only get matched up with people looking for a game with your specific settings. Only time you won’t know if if you leave “Any” in the settings difficulty field then you won’t know until you get in the game and even then you won’t know it’ll just be really hard or not lol

It’s funny, 42 game win streak and now since the update Friday I can’t make solid contact to save my life and have went 2-2 since Monday.
Also hilarious that losing games loses you 10+ rank points but winning you get 1 maybe 2 points. Makes zero sense lol

And just like that, 5 wins and 3 losses since the update and my rank dropped from 35 to 73 lmaoooooo yet it will take a 40 game win streak to get back to the 30’s…it’s laughable. As soon as madden drops this games getting deleted.

Just started playing this mode. I have been using all-star pitching with vet hitting. Seems me and opponent get hits score runs. The games have been excellent btw with only 1 quit and 1 disco. Looking through the comments, what does it matter what settings people want to play on? I would rather see a discussion which settings play the best for online use. Sick of DD games being a 1-0 snoozefest with 15 strikeouts for each pitcher.

Another win and another loss and now I’m down to 94 rank from the 30’s rank in literally 5 games…lol how can a player go on a 40+ game win streak then can’t win back to back games?
Also everyone is so lame abusing the Braves and strider now lmao pathetic

It matters because there’s only one leaderboard. You don’t get rewarded for playing on tougher settings so the top ranked guys you see playing rookie rookie are just beating up on newbs or people who aren’t in their real skill range.
Online Rated should be All star across the board at minimum to me personally. Either that or have separate leaderboards so players can’t abuse the game to climb the ranks.

It matters because this is a “ranked” mode and yet settings are not the same across the board. Not to mention you get more rank points for using the better teams

And what do you get for this? There is some sort of prize at the end? Also idgaf, just wondering in the thousands of online rated games you have played, which mode do you find plays the best and doesn't feel crappy. I don't like striking a guy out 20 times as much as he doesn't like it.
