Is Featured Program Team Affinity or separate?

Im going with option 3. A separate "innings program". Remember they did show us the loop for additional rewards after completing it.I feel like its a separate reward path with its own bosses/henchmen

Don't think it's #2 or #3. Otherwise, they wouldn't have made a point to say that TA was "back".
Personally, I'd like a mega-grind ala 17 and 19. Of course, I'm one of the weirdos that like the Immortal setup of 18, so what do I know?
Dang Farris. Give me 300 hats, 200 jerseys and 200 bats to exchange to get half way to an immortal. Yeah weirdo LMAO

Pretty sure they already announced feature program setup again. It’s where they debuted the infinite awards press your luck thing.

Do you know how many stubs I made flipping hats and jerseys that year?

They announced that part but we don’t know what the bosses or rewards are. They could be the WBC cards, the TA cards or something totally separate. I believe all they showed was the mechanism at the end to know it’s a loop.

Maybe the 99 Trea and 99 Roki are the Program rewards.

Whatever team affinity is, I hope we get the opportunity to earn all the cards involved instead of 2/5 of them like last year. That was such a cash grab. While most players will flip cards to get the ones they want, there are others that will buy stubs to complete those team collections like faces of the franchise.
-
Last years Team Affinity (or lack there off) was no fun. The argument that the community found TA to be too much when added to the main program and player programs was total BS. They limited the number of cards earned in order to earn more $ from consumers. Now that theme teams are a thing, I would like to see the divisions-based team affinity setup.

@p0pachery_MLBTS @T00MuchHam_XBL how was it a cash grab? I completed every collection and didn't have to buy any stubs?
Granted I had to grind my [censored] off; but if you played it correctly you could get to the rewards fast enough that if you sold your pick and waited until the end of the program you could just buy the remaining cards.

Imagine how loud the cries of "CASH GRAB!" would be if we still had the ticket system...

They reduced the number of cards collected through the program that the cards are connected to. You and I both didn't spend money to buy the cards, others certainly did. I don't need the full experience of the cash crab to recognize its there.
DD is a far better collection game compared to it's competitors. That's doesn't mean it shouldn't be criticized. And with that, I'm excited for tomorrow's stream and setting up my team tomorrow night. Crossing my fingers for some good day 1 pulls.

Do you think Trout is still the big pull or is it Ohtani or Judge this year?

I think the pull probability rate is tied to the overall, but by how much is unknown. For example, the mathematical odds of pulling an 85-89 overall are probably the same, but once you cross that 90+ threshold that percentage is decreased obviously making those cards rarer pulls. Not sure if 95+ is an even more elusive tier than 90-94 as that would be a factor in making Ohtani/Judge more sought after than Trout.

Ohtani will be the big pull this year. Trout and Judge around the same price. Alot of Trouts value wasn't just that he was the highest overall live series card, but also he was usually a top outfield option until May or June. Judge was never going to be that way because anyone willing to do the live series early knows how Judge cards play, which is not good because of his height for most. Ohtani can be used for his full potential this year. He will be 400k, Trout and Judge 150-200, Degrom and the rest of the 90+ 100-150. Just my thoughts

Ohtani may start that high, but I bet he drops pretty quickly with all the other 95+ pitchers they’ve already revealed (2-way is overrated with the cards we can use at DH). So I’d put Ohtani at maybe 300k tops. What will really make the big difference in LS pricing this year is how fast the 85-89 approach quicksells.

Like I said, most people grinded and flipped to get the stubs needed to buy the cards, but limiting the number of cards we could earn just by playing through the program was an obvious ploy to entice those not willing to grind to buy stubs.

Ohtani is just the most relevant LS card for use. The LS pricing will be about the demand for the rewards anyway(which will be high assuming Mac, Sosa, Jeter). The 85-89s are mostly about how early and how often BIAH, Ballin OOC packs are given out for nothing
