The only way it won’t is if ball player can be a two way and be an OP pitcher and hitter at the same time.

In the stream, they said that they have followed the MLB rules for DH and two-way players. You can watch it on Twitch.

I'm OK with the DH in real baseball, but for DD it'll just make a player's bench completely irrelevant most of the time.

I think your bench players will be used more for match ups now, say your opponent starts Randy Johnson and you have alot of lefty hitters in your line up you can sub some of them out for righties and not worry about saving them to pinch hit for your pitchers later on.

This is a really good point. I’m always tempted to do this and then think- I’ll be SOL later when I need a pinch hitter.
I’m going to do matchups and pinch runners more frequently now because I don’t have to worry about later.

Yes, and then you are stuck with all those righties vs a righty once they se what you did.

I mean we played the tech test right? The DH was there. So yeah there's your answer.

That's stupid. People will abuse that all day by pitching a favorable pitching matchup.

Remember when people would back out of a RS game when they saw they were facing a lefty in 16 before the game started? Kind of the same concept.

Yes, and then you are stuck with all those righties vs a righty once they se what you did.
That’s why i said’ sub some of them out not all of them , either way if you get your opponent to pull Randy thats already a plus in my book.

Exactly! I would say for dominant starters, the bench will be used more.

True. I hit left/left ok. I’m horrible right/right and no amount of practice seems to help.

Have you tried different cameras? I'm the same as you - ok L/L, struggle R/R. I moved from SZ to SZ High and I'm having more success. If I struggle in 23, I'll move to Broadcast and flail away.
