MLB Stadiums in the rain

What's up with people picking MLB stadiums in the rain?
-
I believe it causes users on old gen consoles to drop frames.

Really? Is that why EVERYTIME I play one the connection is horrible and it feels like you're playing at FOD prior to the patch?

I have played one guy from Puerto Rico 4 times, and always in the rain. He is one of the few guys I can actually beat consistently, but I have had trouble with extra base hits because of the lag. Usually where I get to a base, but the game doesn't register my letting go of the advance runner button and I go to the next base anyway and am out.
He usually starts Ryan and hopes that's enough.

Pro tip: learn how to use manual base running instead of holding the L1 button to "advance". Manually point your left stick towards the baserunner and then hit the icon of the base you want them to run to. You'll master it very quickly and it will prevent this from ever happening again.

In 2002, which was 20 years ago, I could play Torrey Pines with real time weather on EA Tiger Woods.
On here we get the guy who makes it rain cats and dogs at PETCO.

The guy I played from Puerto Rico chose Seattle, in the rain, with the dome open. That should be something SDS needs to address. If you choose bad weather at a domed stadium it automatically defaults to closed and cannot be changed.

Yeah man, in 2023 SDS can’t figure this out

I don’t understand why they put thunderstorms in game. Mlb teams don’t play in rain that much anyway. Not for long anyway.

IMO what they need to do is lock month/time/weather for online play. It has to he day or night to avoid cheesy combinations
