If I preorder the digital deluxe for PS and Switch, can I double up on the goods that come with?

Thanks, guys, Digital Deluxe for the Station, and Standard for the Switch will be the way I go.
As for playing online, I've honestly never tried an online game on my Switch Lite. I guess I assume it would be so bad that it wouldn't be worth it. Now I'm tempted to play an event game on it sometime tonight, worst thing that happens is I just have to quit I guess. It would be a good test for 23 too.

As a side note: Anyone that reads this thread that is looking to get a Switch - Costco has a bundle deal on the OLED model. I was there yesterday and saw it. I have the OLED, so I have nothing to upgrade in this case.

You will only be able to use them on their respective consoles but if you link your accounts (if Switch is included in Cross Play) then you will get the bonuses all on the same account. I did this in previous years on PS4 with the Digital Deluxe and Collector's Editions (when GameStop had the exclusive edition with the hat). I think it depends on if you have to use a voucher code or if bonuses are already preloaded.
My plan this year is to preorder the Digital Deluxe as well as purchase the Captain's Edition... I'll most likely redeem the Captain's Edition bonuses on a different account though so that I can play on atleast 2 accounts on PS5 and it'll also allow for me to play on multiple accounts on PS4... depending on how many teams I opt to build in Diamond Dynasty... kinda of want my main team, a No Money Spent team, a Grind-only team, a Packs-only team, etc.... just depends on how much time I have to dedicate to the mode and posting to YouTube.

Don't buy multiple special editions. The perks such as stubs and pre-order packs will NOT stack.
The way account linking works is that one platform is considered the primary account while the other platform looks to the primary to see what cards and stubs you have, ignoring any cards or stubs associated with the secondary account. If you ever unlink, those stubs and packs would be there, but you can't combine them into one account.
On another note, pre-order stubs can be "laundered" to work on both platforms. If you get a special edition on Playstation, after you link you still won't see those stubs on Switch. Simply buy cards on Playstation and then sell them on the market. Stubs earned via marketplace sales and earned via gameplay are cross-platform.
If it's like years past they will stack... I routinely purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition (so I could play at midnight, typically with Early release) and then I'd go to GameStop and pick up the special edition they had that included the hat or I'd wait for it to be delivered. I did this for MLB The Show 17 and MLB The Show 18 and was able to stack the bonuses... only issue is when you end up with redundant bonuses but it looks like they kind of did away with those (like having two Ken Griffey Jr rookie cards in 17 like I did for example... I think I eventually quick sold one).

Depends on if you connect your accounts (PS and XB) to your Show account or not is my understanding. I know when I started playing on PS5 all my PS4 stuff transferred over... I think the only thing that doesn't go across platforms is possibly your stubs... but I feel like if you link your accounts (PS and XB) to your The Show account you will have your bonuses on the same account because you are using one account... if you don't link the two accounts then no you won't be able to stack the bonuses.

They don't stack. When you link your accounts, you choose a main account and any game you buy for your "sub" account is hidden until those accounts are unlinked. The accounts to link for gameplay are PSN, Microsoft, and Nintendo.

Pretty sure they answered this last year. But whatever console the preorder bonuses are assigned when loaded is where they stay.

I apologize if I sound like a [censored], but I know people are going to screw this up and flood the forum with posts for the first month. So I want to be completely clear.
The game has been cross-platform for two years, and I know how it works. If you order special editions on both Xbox and Playstation, when you link you will be forced to choose one account to continue with (primary) while the other is ignored in the background (secondary). The packs and stubs from the secondary account can't be used unless you unlink. Unless something changes this year (unlikely) it is not possible to stack pre-order bonuses across platforms.

I'm talking about linking the PSN and the XBox Gamertag to your The Show Account. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you can do that, which allowed people to move from PS4 to XBox Series X or from XBox One to PS5... how else would you be able to upgrade that way if you couldn't link... I don't know maybe I'm wrong... again I'm new to the next gen party and didn't get back online til summer as I've probably stated numerous times so I missed a lot of info that released about MLB The Show 22 and seeing as I went from PS4 to PS5 I didn't run into any issues...
but if what they are saying about Cross Platform is true then you should be able to get the game for PlayStation use those preorder order bonuses, go to XBox (as long as your account is linked) and have all your cards from playstation (I'm not sure about the stubs) open your bonus from XBox (if you also purchased the game for XBox) and then go to Switch (again provided you linked your accounts and purchased the game on Switch) and still have everything you opened on PS4/5 and XBox One/Series X available for you to use while playing with your team on Switch.
Like I said I'm getting two editions but that's because I want to be able to have a No Money Spent team to use for my YouTube channel in addition to my main team on PS5.

Maybe that wasn't what it is for but my understanding was that you can take your team to every platform you play on as long as you link your accounts.

Anyway, I will be preordering the Digital Deluxe version for the Station, but I'm wondering if I do the same on Switch can I get all the bonus stuff in my DD account? I'd assume I'd get early access for the Switch as well?

Don't buy multiple special editions. The perks such as stubs and pre-order packs will NOT stack.
The way account linking works is that one platform is considered the primary account while the other platform looks to the primary to see what cards and stubs you have, ignoring any cards or stubs associated with the secondary account. If you ever unlink, those stubs and packs would be there, but you can't combine them into one account.
On another note, pre-order stubs can be "laundered" to work on both platforms. If you get a special edition on Playstation, after you link you still won't see those stubs on Switch. Simply buy cards on Playstation and then sell them on the market. Stubs earned via marketplace sales and earned via gameplay are cross-platform.
If it's like years past they will stack... I routinely purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition (so I could play at midnight, typically with Early release) and then I'd go to GameStop and pick up the special edition they had that included the hat or I'd wait for it to be delivered. I did this for MLB The Show 17 and MLB The Show 18 and was able to stack the bonuses... only issue is when you end up with redundant bonuses but it looks like they kind of did away with those (like having two Ken Griffey Jr rookie cards in 17 like I did for example... I think I eventually quick sold one).

I've had linked accounts for both 21 and 22. Yes, you can link accounts. Yes, you can have your team from Playstation show up on your Xbox account.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. You will receive the bonuses from the primary platform. The bonuses from the secondary will NOT be added to your primary account. If you don't believe me, then please buy $100 versions for all three platforms and get back to us.

The game data is on the server. The accounts you have linked in The Show account read that data. Whichever company you have an account with, Playstation, Microsoft, or Nintendo reads/writes the data to the server.
It doesn't matter if you have a different console from the same maker as long as you use the same account, the game will be on whichever console you are playing on. If you use a different account, then you will have two instances of the game and they can not be merged or linked.
If you get a second console from a different maker, then you can link your account, from that console maker to your The Show account and have cross-play.
When you link accounts, you select one account to be the primary. All progress will be under your primary account. If you played on your second console before you linked, that progression will be ignored (or hidden if you will) unless the accounts are unlinked. Any stubs earned or purchased on the second console, before linking, will also be ignored. This includes any bonuses that came with the game you purchased for your sub-account console. The only way to see those bonuses or stubs is to unlink the accounts.
While linked, any stubs you purchase on either console will be native to that console and can not be shared because the maker (Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo) sold you those stubs. The way to get around this is to buy a card with those stubs. All cards are shared on cross-play.
If you buy any cards on your sub-account console before linking, they will be ignored until the accounts are unlinked. If you buy any cards after your accounts are linked, those cards are shared.

Just don't link your accounts. Put one on your PS5 and then one on your Switch.

There is also a spot ono the page to type in the link for cross platform... I did a print screen but wasn't able to post it... and since I'm leaving work right now I don't have time to save it and upload it. Yes you can link your accounts but you can link 'entitlements'. Think of it this way. There is a free TN Jazz Chisholm in the Show Shop. You sign onto your PS5 account and claim the card. You then sign onto your Switch account and the card is still available to download. But when you download it; you won't have two cards per console. Just one.
Same thing with preorder bonuses. You have to download them. You'll have them on both consoles; but you won't have access to the PS5 cards you claimed on the Switch and vice versa.
But like I said in my other post. Don't link your accounts.

Or the Captain edition. Both come with early access. Why do you need to have someone from SDS answer this question? You've been given the answer in several posts.
If you want early access on your Switch, then buy a version that supports it. Buy the standard edition for your PS. Then, link your accounts making your Switch your primary. Easy peasy.

I bought the Digital deluxe for Switch last year to get the early access and bonuses, but then I spent 99.9% of the year playing on Xbox. It made sense at the time to buy the Switch version since I got the novelty of playing on the go along with a high end version on Series X with Game Pass, but it wasnt worth it. I don't think I'll ever buy a Switch version again. It runs, but is rough compared to PS5 and Series X and if I'm playing games I'm almost always home anyway. If you are away from home more often, maybe it will make more sense for you.
This year I'm purchasing digital deluxe for Playstation so I can play on both PS5 and PS4. It will probably come to Game Pass again, but I only have the one Xbox and prefer the flexibility of being able to play in my living room or bedroom.

I like the switch for when I’m not at home and offline content. It doesn’t really matter which console has the deluxe version, as long as it’s the primary in the link.
