Just played a guy in RS who was salty that I went up 4-0 in the 1st. He proceeds to commit error after error to not allow the game to proceed. I had to eventually try to strikeout on purpose just for the inning to end. When he saw that he tried throwing dirt balls so I could get on base with a dropped 3rd strike. 3 1/2 innings took an hour. I can only assume he thought if it took long enough that I’d quit.

Mercy rule needs to be in effect the 1st inning to keep this from happening and these players deserve a ban/suspension

Mercy rule can’t be in effect in the first lol. I’ve gone up 10 or down 10 so quickly sometimes and it can end up being a really good game in the end

There definitely should be. Doesn’t have to be 10 runs, maybe 15? That’s enough to allow people to play on if they’re actually trying.

I’m sure there have been times where people would have came back down 10 after 4 innings as well. The rule is there to prevent griefing, doesn’t make sense that players can grief all they want innings 1-3.

But I respect your comeback all the same

Literally experienced this just now, 2 games in a row. One actually almost beat me in the end. Pausing, stepping off, throwing over. All the good stuff.

Just fix the pause time regeneration formula, give people a fixed amount in the beginning of the game with no regeneration until IF the game goes to extra innings then you get a little bit more
