Consenting, or not, would you ever hit a woman so hard that it bruised her? I know I was raised to think it would be wrong to do so. I know if someone hit my kid, or sisters, etc like that they'd be talking to me real close.

They both agreed to whatever happened and now it's none of our business. I just don't like the mud slinging because someone agreed to something, got mad at some point (or was digging for gold) and wanted to try and punish the other person.

You are right, he was legally cleared and I can’t argue that. Are you actually naive enough to believe that automatically means he is innocent of doing anything wrong? I’m not trying to steamroll someone else’s thread so I’ll stop responding after this but cmon dude, use your brain. If you actually think every powerful man with money who has been legally cleared is actually innocent then I don’t know what to tell ya, you dumb.

This is my last post on this as well. He has evidence that he didn't do anything that wasn't consensual. It was so much in his favor, a judge wouldn't even issue a restraining order, which really doesn't require much.

He's awesome on the ball field, and does a great job with his YouTube channel. Also as an Astros fan and thought it was hilarious to listen to all the kind things he had to say about his buddy Garret Cole, never gets old hearing him rip into Bregman. Let's be honest the guy is entertaining like him or not. I personally believe him when he talks about various players and cheating. I love baseball, at the end of the day though it's entertainment. Baseball is better with him on the field. He is a smart guy when it comes to pitching, his YouTube videos are really entertaining and informative, his ability to present his approach, execution of various pitches, and explain the WHY things work in simple terms that make since especially to the younger guys watching is great.

At least from a PR perspective, Steve could be in for a rough time ahead. NY fans and the NY media don’t shy away from their opinions. Every time Correa goes on the IL for the entirety of that contract, the fans and press are going to let him have it.
Correa already has a bit of a “stink” attached to him from the Astros scandal, not to mention how he handled the Minnesota contract. I’m a Sox fan so I couldn’t care less about the Twins’ feelings, but even I thought he was classless. After saying multiple times throughout the season that he didn’t intend to opt out (which everyone knew was a lie), he made a very selfish showing in the last month of the season by saying the Twins just needed to pay him more.
"When I go to the mall and I go to the Dior store and I want something, I get it. I ask how much it costs and I buy it," he told reporters. "So if you really want something, you just go get it. I'm the product here, so if they want my product, they just gotta come get it."
Again, that quote was BEFORE he opted out and there was still a few weeks of baseball left. No class whatsoever.

I’m not saying Correa is a great guy but definitely a good player. Also even with the reports about the medical issues and everything I’ve seen and heard nothing but love for this move from other Mets fans. Also he will be playing 3rd base not shortstop. To be clear I’m not trying to imply there is no risk in this deal, I was just trying to say it was ignorant for the guy to say the Mets are giving out dumb contracts when the Correa one is the only one they gave out you could even argue for not being good.
