How often can you be matched up against the same opponent in RS/BR/Events?

I assume there’s some mechanism to prevent you from facing the same person over and over. Anyone know how long the cooldown period is?

I don't think there is a way to determine that. I matched up against someone once and played them again that very night.
I also found out that if you block someone's ID you can still match up against them.

They are never going to tell how they determine it. I mean within an hour of events going live there is always a few people who went 25-30 and 0 and not sure how they get that match up

I think it may depend on what time you are online. I get some players a couple times a week, but never had the same day before.

It’s very rare but I’ve faced @Mike__Honcho_361 a few times in events.
Yea the only players I recognize from the boards who I know I’ve faced multiple times are you and @eatyum_PSN. I have no idea if there is something in place to avoid multiple matchups in a certain period.

That was a perfect example of how the game leans towards one player most of the time. Once the momentum starts going, it’s unstoppable. You get out on a perfect/perfect and I get rewarded on every swing, good and bad.
I’ve had losses tonight the same way. Played a player batting .200 or less with every player in his lineup and he couldn’t miss and I had more outs on P/P swings than I had hits lol.

Yeah man, the game sucks but there’s nothing we can about it, I reinstalled about two weeks ago after a 3 or 4 months absence and uninstalled that same day, came back today because I was bored, wanted to relax in the event and first game it was you.
