Earliest call up
-
What is the earliest you can be called up? I'm currently the best RF in the Giants organization. I'm currently in mid June of my first year.
The starting RF in AAA is on the IL. I figured I would be a lock for a early call up

I was called up to the bigs much earlier than I expected. I think it was just after the minor league all star break my first year.

Immediately after the minor league all-star game is the earliest you can get called up.

I think it depends on what year you are playing on. On the show 21 I got a spring training invite after my AA season. I rocked it hard in spring training but got sent down. But I got called up about a week into my first AAA season. What was odd is that I set my player as a left handed hitting and left handed throwing first baseman. I got put in at second base. They have kept me there despite 4 years of not being able to turn a double play.
They have run a string of significantly worse first basemen there since. Makes absolutely no sense.

Update. I got called up to AAA 3 games after the all star game

As a pitcher, the earliest I got called up to the MLB (or even AAA) was a week prior to the MiLB ASG of the first year.
As a hitter, the earliest I have been called up to the MLB (or AAA) was the day after the MiLB ASG of the first year.
I usually go from AA to MLB, but this year's game I have had some that get called up to only AAA at that time. Pretty much every career I get called up at the above mentioned times. I run through a lot of careers as I usually will start over shortly after I get called up so I can run through the Ballplayer Programs quicker.

I can't remember exactly but I didn't get called up to MLB until I got invited to Spring Training after my first year which I thought was cool because after playing prior years I used to tear through AA (and AAA when needed) and be in the Majors in time to make the MLB All-Star Game and from a presentation standout point and content creating standpoint I'd like to stick around the minors longer... I'm still lowkey hoping that Single A is made playable in next years game seeing as you would just have to add 300 more player slots and I'd imagine it shouldn't be that difficult on PS5 and probably should've been done on PS4 especially considering the amount of free agents and legends in the game... I really hope they are able to expand these rosters for that to happen at some point... and then maybe do something where you select where you start in the organization... but make it so you have to choose wisely because if for example you are a 60 overall and you choose to be on the MLB team it could mean that you are buried on the bench to start off with sporadic playing time (pinch hitting, pinch running, defensive substitution) depending on your attributes.
