Wearing catcher gear while batting

I have a CAP catcher and for the past 2 weeks or so he has been wearing his catching gear while batting. Even in the CAP area where you see his traits and stuff he is wearing his leg gear. Anybody else having this problem and how do I get it to stop?

Don’t use a CAP? There’s no shortage of end game catchers in the game at this point.

Maybe you CAP is lazy and doesn't feel like taking the gear off for his ABs!

I won't make fun of you for using a cap,
I will say though, that sounds like a feature to me, not a bug.

Gotta love the people who will get butthurt over someone using a CAP but are perfectly fine using a completely juiced up MLB player with crazy attributes who was no better than “pretty good”

Umm, not sure how it could be a feature. I've tried everything I know of such as removing all gear from top to bottom, resetting the game, etc. Still there?
