I mean what is gonna take?
Perhaps greatest Pinch Hit in MLB history.
    Sort of silly imo.

Is that even an active quirk?

Legends don't have active quirks. Unless you count Outlier and Pop time

I know, I was just basically saying that the pinch hitter quirk doesn’t do anything to improve the card’s performance. At least to my knowledge.

How about his 90 Clutch rating and this card is from the 1988 season. Crazy talk.

Pinch hitter is an active quirk actually.

So if you have the quirk you will perform better off the bench then if you started the game?

It's only when pinch hitting. It's really only useful on guys like Joc Pederson

    Guys…
Last year I used Jesse Winker and M Cabrera on my bench and both had the PH quirk.

It is beyond useful as it both made a bigger pci and seemingly the timing zone more forgiving.

I get the 90 clutch rating as it may be an indicator of his full 88 season stats with runners on base in 2 out and late situations.

But having a PH Active quirk is very much the same as Pedro having outlier.

Active quirks can totally exist on legends.

For all the complaining that comes from the board about SDS not knowing baseball.

Often… i shut it out and move on.

But… this one is such a layup that it just has to be addressed.

I get that programmers/coders put this game together.

But who at SDS just loves Baseball so much that this type of stuff matters to them?

Outlier doesn't count as an active quirk. Neither does pop time. Active quirks are ones like dead read, breaking ball hitter, home/away, rally monkey, and pinch hitter
