There’s no advantage whatsoever to swinging at the first pitch. In fact, it’s a disadvantage.

Thing is i'm not throwing it near the middle and it still goes out most of the time, granted i could give 2 (*****) about your homerun, not like i can't hit some myself or beat u another form of way lol lol

Let's take a look at some stats over this real life MLB season of 2022...
The pitch count with the most homeruns is....
You guessed it, the 0-0 count...
Which would be 1st pitch!!!
942 out of 5176 homeruns this season came on the first pitch, that is over 18% or nearly 1 in 5 homeruns came on the first pitch!
So tell me how this 1st pitch homerun thing in the game is "overpowered"!
