If I'm going to lose a 24-4 sim; may as well just play every hexagon.

    Unbelievable

I thought this kind of stuff only happened to me lol. Earlier went into a sim up 17-6 and then watched my total go all the way down to zero while the CPU kept 6.

I always think of it as a group of guys attacking a smaller group. When those crazy runs happen I just know I’m going against John Wick. I stand no chance.

Just wait until one of the other teams moves half way across the board to attack a stronghold that you already obtained.

I was playing the Central CQ map last night. I was also watching MLB Network/Judge's 60th. I wasn't paying too much attention, and the White Sox built up a hex of 26. I inadvertently skipped the "Attack" stage, and that hex ran rampant through a ton of my spaces, including one of my strongholds (I just simmed it as it was on Legend and I figured I'd just replay it).

    I need to FOCUS.

Happened to me as well. Had to play the Pirates on Legend. Won 3-2. Their 2 runs were a deliberate lean in to a HBP. Very next pitch, a suspicious 2 run homer off a Changeup. I wound up winning 3-2, but when I finished, they took another. I just simmed that! Legend is sweaty af!!

I played the east map today, and it seemed pretty normal to me. In the beginning, I reinforced too many times, and all the spaces filled up, so I switched to stealing. Once I took out all the teams, it was just a matter of reinforcing and taking over all the squares.

I always take the strongholds out right away. I usually just do a run straight from stronghold to stronghold, but the east map is too small and the other teams territories are so aggressive. I guess you took out the Mets right away. I don’t remember what the rest of the map looks like because I wasn’t able to play today. What was your strategy? Aside from taking out strong holds first. What did you do to get to them?

Edit: I missed you said stealing. How often did you have to steal?

That's what I do as well. Take out the strongholds and then the rest of the map.

Here's the order I took them in:

    Mets
    Marlins
    Phillies
    Nationals
    Braves
    Red Sox
    Orioles
    Rays
    Blue Jays
    Yankees

I stole fans from the stronghold I was aiming for until the Red Sox and then I reinforced between strongholds.

Just steal between turns build your wall. This one isn't as crazy as I've heard. I actually like that it takes some time.

I will say this map has been a lot tougher than that easy ole Kraken map. A lot of those games can be played on Vet. So far only All Star available on Central map. Now I only play on All Star when I play conquest, but still. I noticed this for sure. Mainly how hard to sim it is.

So, say you have a three way battle between John Wick, Chuck Norris and the Honey badger, who wins?

Did you have a hard time with the Eastern map?
I am speaking about the CPU’s ability to win simulations, even if it is clearly in your favor.

Their "simulations" get pretty ridiculous. I only have the Brewers left to finish this one.

I feel that I also have not played a conquest game that did not last 3 inning since before the last patch. I am constantly going 5-6 innings only for the cpu to get a bloop hit when no one can get to it. I have seen more diving catches by bronze and common defenders then I have ever seen. Sorry SDS but JD is not making a diving catch at this stage in his career or really at any point. Save that [censored] for show downs.

They have obviously changed things in the last update that they continue to push through when the east coast is waking up and they do not disclose what they changed behind the scenes. They did not only change the monments HBP or intentional walk issues. Seems like the sped up the timing and made the cpu more aggressive.

CQ is easy, I do not have these issues, Most the time I take out as soon as I can play on Vet or Rookie makes it easier, I take as many empty spaces as possible I never steal unless it is required. When i SIM I use the best possible team, they I switch to the the team I want to play the games with, I do not get that issue of losing sim games when it is 20 to 3.

They did something to the AI when you're simulating games. Used to be easy when you had double the amount of the territory you were attacking but now they'll loose a few and you loose like 20. Very frustrating.

This time around I didn't take any East strongholds, just locked everyone in. It took MANY turns, but its OK I had an hour before I went to work.
When I get home, just the stronghold games to play this time around. I have at least a '36' spot around all the teams!
