New update has major issues

Hitting is worse now not accurate at all and so is pitching. It feels like the cpu chokes you whenever it wants too. Im playing veteran level. This game has become as bad as other sport games. There is not one single sport game out there that you can enjoy half way through release. It frustrates people. If we the fans support game developers they should put more work into game rather just change 0 and 1s. Scriptting is major issue right now due to poor marketing of the game. This needs to stop. Mlb the show must keep it's class.

Yep, hit one off the wall vs cpu last night and te cpu outfielder stood there looking at the ball while an infielder. possibly the catcher starting running towards the wall to get the ball. All the while I am laughing as I round the bases!

I might believe you if I didn't see someone complaining after every single update for the last 3 or 4 years that hitting or pitching was somehow nerfed in the update.

Quick note this is my first ever post for mlb show all these years. This update just killed it for me. It's same story I have with other sport games. Its clear the path sport games are taking now and boy I need to be really patient not to break anything. It's sad how they get you to buy the game and half way updates just kills the game. And it's so obvious that these updates are just to manipulate their marketing profit. 1 to get you frustrated to either grind for crazy amount hours or spend money at the store to cheat your way up or get you ready for next title which they say is "so much better". Game reviews mean nothing when these changes come along half way point. Reviwers do not compare games to last entitlement. They get grasp of the 1.0 version only and not half way season update you get. Where are the reviews then? This is a pure scam. It's like how they make cars right now. They want the car to breakdown after specific km. Otherwise there be no profit. They have to make profit not by just selling product but also draw very short product cycle for it. And it gets worse year after year. Not to mention games are so expensive now with add-ons and packages they come with. You spend crazy money and time for something that breaks apart...

I play on Legend with hitting and pitching at max pitch speeds, with Franchise...I had a game last night where I lost in the 11th inning 4-2. Eovaldi pitched a good game where he had a good game, painted the plate. Okay I had a bad game so what?, next game it might be a 9-7 game. Do you F-ing casual know how baseball works? You newbs should be banned from making posts like this. There are other baseball games out there for people like you, grab a copy of Super Mega baseball or RBI baseball. If you casuals don't know how baseball is suppose to work stop making dumb threads. Hitting is fine, if I can i play at the highest level the game has to offer why can't you?....am I a freak of nature?. No, its cause I practice..stop being casual noobs!

No need to be rude. That was my opinion. You might be greatest gamer. NO NEED to Criticize my playing skills. This game should be for everyone. Everyone at every level should enjoy it. I noticed that change instantly over the night. Im just saying that can be managed for example you play on all star for someone like you maybee change difficulty not as for someone on veteran level. The change is very noticable. I understand they want to raise the difficulty like extreme program and stuff but at one point that game becomes way too difficult. I have good players like chipper ortiz and Griffey and still couldnt finish to beat LA on CONQUEST. Just saying the amount of grinding to enjoy the game has gone out of control for sport games. We have lives we want to enjoy the game and get on with our life. Not sit there practice 10 hrs to get grip on fastball timing and im not only one saying this there are so many other posts people saying the same thing how timing needs work. Please be polite learn manners and stop bullying others. It won't kill you neither break you. You'r the one that should be banned. Read the the regulations!!!

One other thing I noticed more people from xbox had this issue then playstation users. It might be a lag or something from the controller or the directional pad. Maybee buttons?

Did you do the program moments when it dropped?
cause i noticed a little of what you described, but i attributed that to doing the moments first, it changed my approach and timing and the first few games were rough until i adjusted back -

Omg you play offline on the hardest settings! We get it!
I guarantee you some these noobs could smoke you online on your settings. But we know why you don't play online.

They don't know baseball. They just know digital artwork and software.

Haha wow you must be a DD player for sure. I would prolly suck online, the pitch speeds you guys use is super slow....basically a fastball online would be like me hitting a knuckle-ball. Sorry I'm not gonna do that silly online thing you guys do.
