Let’s talk about this ranked game I’m playing.
I’m sure crazier things have happened, but the entire game it feels as if the game itself is attempting to help this guy out/score.
Had a no hitter through 4 or 5. I miss location on a cutter and he hits it out with josh bell. Ok cool, we’re tied at 1, no big deal. Well I take the lead back, up 2-1. Bottom half, a comebacker to GREG MADDUX is overthrown. Guy fails to score. Still working this 1 hit/1 run effort til the 8th where he gets 1 hit. Clear that inning, he has 1 run on 2 hits, Maddux has 65 pitches through 8 innings. I’m feeling good. Bring him out for the 9th, I place a fastball up and in, it shoots to the bottom of the zone where Trea Turner hits a homerun, immediately pull Maddux and bring in Pressly. 2 outs then ANOTHER homerun is hit. We’re tied at 3 in the bottom of the 9th. Yes, my barreled balls are being knocked down deep in the OF but that’s a complete other issue. Smh.
And I just got walked off in the bottom 11th with a homerun on a missed location slider. But couldn’t hit anything for 8 1/3 innings... this happened SOOOO much in 19 and it’s showing its ugly face in 2020. Sorry, rant is over.

Sorry, failed to mention there was a second throwing error in there as well. Just isn’t adding up.

The game honestly is rewarding shitty players. I have lost to good players but most of my loses in RS and br are to players who are rewarded for bad pci placement and contact. And yes also due to great control pitchers missing spots on perfect releases

I was feeling GREAT the whole game. Kept an eye on stamina on Maddux due to the game loving to hurt you when you get to yellow, so I pulled him at 70 pitches in the 9th. Only to get screwed. In the final 2 innings I gave up 3 homeruns to a guy who had 2 hits through 8 innings.

Some games it rewards bad pci placement with homers and multiple perfectly squared up pci balls with a lot of good okay low velocity results. This has been broken for years but this year it feels even worse after the patch. It’s the hitting engine that they either can’t fix without scrapping completely or the conspiracy theory of rng random bs to help non skilled players is true.

I lost a game today because my player refused to move for an infield pop up. Then a play in the hole I green bar and still he throws the ball away to allow that pop up runner to score from 2nd and tie the game. Then the next batter hits a boomba to win. All of this with 2 outs. Dont know how I can make it so far in a game just to watch it blow apart so fast. Oh well just keeping plugging away I say

It’s not a coincidence they turned on the little Billy code ON RELEASE DAY. They help lesser skilled players, and I’m one of them, so they keep playing.
I hit a game winning triple on a hit in which my PCI wasn’t even touching the ball...but go ahead fanboys, tell us again this is all just a conspiracy.

I’m 14 games under .500 in 2020, and it is absolutely driving me crazy. I’ve gotten BETTER with PCI since last year and I’m losing. It’s upsetting.
Don’t feel bad, man. At least you’re playing well.
Personally, I’m about 6 games below .500 and am definitely a lot better than in previous years.
I’m sure with a larger sample size things will even out. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. There’s only so many one run games you can lose before you win one late.

One of my favorites roght now is when you line up your outfielder to throw a strike to get a runner but they take their time loading into the animation or just pause then throw

Has anyone noticed the late reaction to fly balls? Sometimes I’ll notice my OF will be slow to react then can’t get to it.

Lol I just rage quit and almost punch a hole in my wall. I hit a perfect perfect fly for an out.... I hit a good good to the track.... next inning dude hits a fly to center, my gold fielder misses is. Then two jam shots, the umpire will not call on the black so I walk a guy.... next guy hits a jammed shot over the the 3rd baseman. Next guy rolls one passed the 3rd baseman ( not a bad fielder just a grounder ) .... I rage quit. Game is so full of feces. I’m absolutely tired of losing to trash players while constantly getting out on good hit feedback. Oh not to mention I stole second and it said I was out but I was obviously safe , the ball hadn’t even got to the SS yet and I had already slid in..... I hope SDS gets diarrhea and poops themselves for 4 days straight
