Retro Finest Randy Johnson
That'd be disgusting but I doubt they'd do that (pls don't )
They did with Clemente so who knows. I know in past years there have been rare exceptions to multiple 99s but the multiple 99s this year is an awful idea IMO.
I mean, I kinda see why they're gonna give Clemente another 99 and free. I think it's pretty much because he's a little too low on the power and being a collection reward they want ppl to be kind of compensated idk (obviously this could not be the case and also the card could be worse, which would be a huge L) but giving the best pitcher in the game an even better card would be kinda wild

Addressing both points above:
The milestone Clemente card IS free.
The milestone card was "technically" av day 1. You combine those stats for free available day 1 and that's a hell of a compensation.
If someone just unlocked the card, you're compensation is the card and advancement in the LS collection.
Moral of the story: early bird gets the Worm.

Seaver with outlier? Or Gibson with outlier?
What about Maddux with outlier? Or Hershiser with outlier?

I posted on Reddit who I thought would be considered. I'll post the short version here (sorry! I'm sleepy):
- Justin Verlander, Corey Kluber (The Show 20 card), Rickey Henderson, Albert Pujols, Jake Arrieta, or Trea Turner are the most likely, in my opinion.
But I think others may be considered, too, such as: Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Greg Maddux, Roy Halladay, Max Scherzer, Jacob deGrom, Ken Griffey Jr., Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle, Joe Mauer, Adley Rutchsman, Chris Sale, Jimmy Rollins, Bob Gibson, Orel Hershiser, or Jimmie Foxx.
If it's not one of those players, I'd be shocked.
Do you think they would make Griffey Jr. the big collection after he was the main big one last year?

Can't see them dropping a big collection the same time they drop a new program that should have '30' bosses which will probably be part of said collection.
That would make those cards EXTREMELY expensive.
That's exactly what they did for every big collection last year I believe. Mariano was TA 2, Mookie was TA3, Kershaw was TA 4 and Griffey was TA5.
@SaveFarris_PSN can you confirm this?
Noob question what does TA 2,3,4 etc stand for?

Do you think Mays’ and Griffey’s 99 should be their best cards?
Edit: Almost forgot Gehrig’s 99

TA is Team Affinity. They got rid of it this year.

Those were all obtainable for free with no time limit. Though I’m not saying they will not release it on the same day, I just wouldn’t use last year’s TA as examples for reasons why.

Collection reward is most likely a flashback as legend candidates have a good chance to be in the featured program

I know, I was just making over emphasized joke about the amount of pitcher’s with outlier. Pedro got it, he didn’t throw hard enough to get it. Maddux and Hersh were masters of their craft; they used good pitch mixes, great movement, and command of the zone.

Agreed but it’s a shame their supreme ability doesn’t translate into the game.

I always pitched well with Maddux. Then, after pitching with him for a couple times through the lineup, bring in a reliever that throws heat. 102mph will feel like 110.

True but you have to admit, the 30 card featured programs are clearly modeled after TA. They are almost identical-
- FOTF/TA1 88s (basically the same thing)
- Future Stars/TA2 (which had a bunch of Future Stars)
- All Stars/TA 3 (All stars)
- Legends / TA4 (legends)
And I'm gonna guess the last 30 card program this year will be Finest just like TA5.
So while these are timed and you don't get all the cards free, otherwise they're the same thing.
And so far I believe Brett and Cutch were released when the 30 card programs were released. I am positive the new collection will be released in concert with the legends program.

I mean if we're being nitpicky, yes, it is a "free" card, but you gotta put stubs into other stuff to complete the collections to get to it, what I'm saying is entirely free, yk what I mean

I was agreeing with you that it’s coming then, my point was these programs don’t allow us to get every card; TA did. Also, if you cannot finish the program in time, you are going to need to spend a lot of stubs. Yes, I know that’s not a problem for you.

I'm hoping for a super juiced Future Stars card. They've gone way too lite on those this year. I d prefer someone from Single A too!

Yeah, I do miss the old format of TA. Do you think they'll bring it back next year?
It's only not a problem for me because I have a boring office job that allows me to screw around on the app in between tasks. But I imagine that'll get old eventually.
