When do Event rewards change?

With the new Event coming out on Friday, will that change the cumulative reward path as well?

While the event will change this week, I think the current reward path is staying the same. This is event #2 in the series for this reward set

Yeah they may just continue the event to the end of the year but just keep adding to how many wins you need and add cards

God I hope not. While I did like that concept last year it would be a real bummer to grind to 100 wins in 3 weeks just to have another month and a half of the same rewards. That being said I don't think the rewards will be the same or they would have done the voucher system rather than letting you get all the rewards with 1 event.

It says it right in the event info screen “new to MLB the Show 20, cumulative Event reward progress is now saved across multiple themed events. If you are participating in a timed themed event with a larger cumulative win threshold, your cumulative win progress will be saved for the next themed event”.

Well they screwed the pooch on events yet again then. There goes the Brooks Robinson investment. Not a soul wants to play for the same event rewards for a month and a half. Assuming the next 2 events are 3 weeks also. At the very least they should have kept it like last year, where cards were locked until the next events came out. I really hope they add rewards past 100 wins then. If not events are terrible yet again.

Interesting. I kind of liked the voucher system they used towards the end of the year. I am currently at like 65 wins and was going towards Brooks over the next couple of nights. But now that it's stretched out I'll just wait I guess.

Most events last year were like 20 wins in 10-14 days, so having one that is 100 wins for a month is about the same. No one forced anyone to grind all 100 wins out as fast as possible.

So you need 100 wins just to start the next set of rewards? I have 100 wins, but not sure I want to do that again

I understand that, but they could have locked rewards past a certain number of wins or made it more clear. I and I assume many others haven't looked at the event info screen in 3 years
