Nathaniel Lowe given a Topps Now instead of a POTM card? What?

It means Garcia is getting a POTM card and they didn't want 2 rangers most likely
Adolis Garcia?
He did nothing in August that would qualify him over Lowe. Actually he did nothing in August to even get him into consideration.

People talking Rangers

I actually hadn't looked at his stats tbf. I just saw a lot of talk that he had a good month when these POTM conversations got brought up. He did hit .299 in August which I guess is what made people say he was worthy? My fault. And he had a 20 game hit streak which is another reason

From what I see he only hit .288.
I did forget about his hit streak so maybe, but in my opinion Lowe still earned it.

Yeah I accidentally stopped at the 30th. The hit streak still makes it possible for a POTM card though

Their decisions are baffling. SDS reminds me more and more of EA every day.
-
I’m happy to get a Mookie card, Also, I can only assume their plans for Arenado are really big. 2nd POTM this season for him and still no card

My guess is that SDS wants a Monthly Awards card to represent all 30 teams by the end of the season, and they realize they're quickly running out of time. I think the Rangers have already had at least 3, right? I feel like I've used Martin Perez, Jon Gray and Swole Calhoun. Lowe definitely had a banger of a month, but I'm sure there are other teams with fewer juiced Monthly Awards card. So I'm not too bummed that he gets a 94 TN rather than, like, a 96 MA.
-
Kinda my feeling that theirs a lot of teams to try and make everyone happy. Getting three Rangers for a team that's going to finish close to thirty games out, I was just happy to get those three.

I think this series should just be called "Random players who did something noteworthy this month" and the Lightning player should be called: "Player of the Month unless they play a position that's been used before or they have another card coming, or their team is over featured." It could work....maybe not quite as catchy.

Yeah, that definitely seems to be the case. Actual Player or Pitcher of The Month awards seem to have little or no bearing.
As much as I appreciate the Noot card I feel like he was added as a make up card for skipping Arenado again.
Also, while I appreciate the Noot card I will admit that Nathaniel Lowe deserved it more.

No Garcia and they put out two Rays players. Strange.

I’m Mark DeRosa and welcome to The Show. SDS will blow your mind more than any psychedelic ever could.

The fact that some of you STILL don't know how this works and how SDS has to take into account future planning for things like Finest for some players is mind-numbing.
I mean ALL of you can't be new to this, right?

Well considering Griffey already has a 99 and is supposed to get a juiced 99 in the future, no we don’t.

Simple Nathaniel Lowe don’t sell in the baseball card shops in real life … meaning nobody gets hyped for him … SDS knows this.
Nathaniel Lowe could hit 20 HRs in a month and the average baseball player wouldn’t know his name.
SDS not going to waste resources on a Nathan Lowe card.
Just how it is

Soooo….is The Show a baseball game or an extension of American Idol?

Whereas Jeff McNeil and Lars Nootbar cards fly off the shelves. Shop owners can’t keep up with the demand

I never expected Lowe to get the lightning card. So tell me which of the henchmen cards is a card seller? Lars Nootbaar? George Kirby? Christian Walker?
