The counting mechanism for the total innings played in Ranked seasons doesnt work well.... I just played a 11 innings game and got 8 more innings then before the game. I started paying attention to that few days/weeks ago and its totally broken. I also went 14 innings and got credited for 9, another game where i played the full 9 and got 8.... I know that it happenned other times also and I'm sure it happenned many more times and I did not saw it... It's a simple counter... how can that be that hard to make this work properly 🤔🤨

Pitching changes mid inning remove that inning from the count. Should have been fixed a long time ago.

Well ok for 1 inning error but not for 5.... unless it just stop counting for some glitchy reasons.... but it sucks since we get to play innings and dont get credit for....

If you pull a pitcher before the third out; that pitcher and the relief pitcher won't get credit for that inning.

Also I'm pretty sure if you go into extra innings; those innings don't count.

No. And as others have said you have to complete your inning with the pitcher. It’s rubbish. SDS don’t care either.

Extra innings don't count, this is likely a mechanism designed to prevent people from matching up and just playing a 250 inning game with some 500+ strike outs and no runs scored

Even if people would do that... what difference would it make...?? The number of innings played would be the same... You could technically also play 600 innings in 600 face off if you quit or the other quit after 1 inning.... If thats the reason why they did it like that it's totally stupid in my opinion unless there's something I did not figured out..... The goal is to play 600 INNINGS so it doesnt matter if its done in 1 or 600 games.... just my point of view...

I guess it is because it would be much faster to boost it if you and the guy you are matched up with just throw strikes down the middle and never swing. While it is still the same number of innings played the innings would go much quicker if you boosted them. But that is besides the point because the rare occasion of someone boosting 600 innings shouldnt override the legit players extra innings played. It is a bad solution to a problem that is insignificant.

People who play a 250 inning game with 500+ strikeouts need a wellness check.

You and I could knock this out in a 21-hour marathon session.

I haven’t played this game for more than 4 hours in a sitting since the Daniel Nava mission. No card or amount of stubs is worth 21 hours on a single RS game 😂
