If you’re trying to get PXP with Reds players, why are you bunting? Might as well play the CPU on rookie and then stop complaining about who your opponent uses on the mound.

Exactly, there’s also plenty of diamond reds players you can get on the market to complete this with. I know from his posts on one of his SEVERAL accounts that he has plenty of stubs he’s sitting on so he could easily buy or rent some Reds to compete with if he wants to play Events.

For whatever reason, i always found Pedro easier to hit. He has a very simple to pick up pitch delivery i guess (for me)

Yeah I actually haven't even played the Event. I'm just saying I wouldn't avoid those cards.
But yeah I much prefer restricted Events, so I'm not even tempted to use most of those guys!

I hate losing, and am usually frustrated during the game, but I don't demand that they go find that 58 starter and put him on the mound so I can have a chance to win. I also don't bunt cheese like OP.

I used to think it was cheesy to use Randy in event games, but really we’re all just trying to get to 30 wins or whatever it is, so now I feel like use your best guys or whoever you want. Using Mark Prior over Nolan doesn’t make you a better person.

Well said. That's awesome that you keep playing online. I get so frustrated I usually switch back to CPU. Part of that is I feel like I need to be accomplishing something which I need to get over. I'm all caught up. But your skills will improve while mine will stay stuck in 1st gear.
Not sure why OP does this. He starts off chill with every new screen name and then he drops a gem like ⁶this.
I worked hard to get Randy in May (ok not really, but I played a lot) and grinded and flipped for Pedro and Nolan. Of course I'm gonna use them.

Last night 7 event games in a row I started Randy Johnson and I got quits. I got to Eddie Murray. Jumped into ranked started Randy guy took one pitch and quit lol. Cmon. How do you get better if you’re just facing certain pitchers. I don’t bail on Randy.

No skill? You've never played no; so you don't know ANYTHING about my skill. I bunt every AB because I was just playing to get the extra PXP boost so I could finish out the missions. I didn't care if I won or lost the game and I didn't care about getting to the rewards because I could either buy them right now or wait until they drop in later Events.

People use Randy with the intention of getting exactly what happened to you. That's my problem. I don't quit when I see Randy but my opponent sure as hell does when I hit a leadoff homer with McCutchen against him

If you literally didn't care about anything to do with the outcome of the game why throw such a hissy fit over the pitchers your opponent used?
Also maybe he realized you weren't a Tually playing just bunting and wanted to get a pxp boost for some of his top pitchers?

Funny that happened too. Lol. Like I will quit if you go up 3 against me. Pause. Confirm quit. It’s just quicker to start over lol. But I’m not running from Randy. Heck if it’s my P5 Randy vs your P5 Randy you toss me a friendly I’ll accept it.
