99 Ron Santo

Those of you who are using him, what position do you have him at?

I used him for 10 games
His fielding and arm across the diamond is crazy good.
But…
Not enough for me to not use ROY Pujols at 3rd.If fielding mattered more…
If baserunners beat out more infield hits.Then there would be a choice to make.
In the meantime.
To me 3rd base goes.Brett

Riley
Pujols roy

I use him at SS. I don’t play online. He does fine there.

I use him at SS in League. He still has Diamond fielding there. He hit a HR off Randy last night. He is staying put for now.

I have him playing second. In my limited games since getting him he has played really good. Thats on AS and HoF ranked games

I think short and second are the best places for him with all the top third basemen. I’m going to give him a go at shortstop and rest dansby for a bit see how I like him.

BattyThat’s why I was asking what position people use him at. Third is loaded already, so I was seeing how he does at his secondary positions.

I guess you haven’t had issues with his speed. Not that he is slow, and I know he has diamond fielding.

He’s pretty good at third and SS but I don’t know if he’s better than some of the other options out there for either position. He’s solid and if you like him he won’t hurt your team. That’s for sure. Great defense and good enough speed. There just no way I can play him over Brett,Riley or Devers, and at SS there’s a few options I prefer more too. But if you like to use all the players just for fun like me than he’s great and better than most

No trouble with speed at 71. To be honest my team is not built around speed but rather hitting. I think my team speed is like 68.

I've used him at all three spots (SS, 2b, 3b). Obviously defensively he was amazing at third. Shortstop he was solid, not a ton of range but strong accurate arm. 2b he is like every other 2b. I just could not get it going with him. Seemed to be a nice stated card that I was excited for. Was hoping he would be my answer at SS. He just did not do enough for me. Would rather have Cruz or JoRam at SS. 3b I just dont think he is good enough to supplant the ton of top tier guys, Riley, Devers, Brett, etc. 2b he could be pretty good but again their are better bats (Jackie is my guy, but Ive played Brett and Judge at 2b) and his defense is not going to show at 2b.
