Boggs' swing is god tier though. He was in the same category as Brett in previous years. Boggs would be an outstanding card with retro finest juice
RIP Wade Boggs
R.I.P. Boggs? Whatchu mean? He’s alive,right?
Boss Hogg died in 2015. Where ya been?
I use to love watching Dukes of Hazard with my grandfather. R.I.P. Pop Pop R.I.P. Boss Hog

Everyone is think it's a catcher because of the word "catch".
While possible, why would they release a 99 catcher the very next program after they released a 99 Yadi?
I wouldnt think catcher but more the famous mays polo grounds "catch"
Wouldn’t that be nice

Favorite it's always sunny in philly episode.

Lowest RBI with atleast 1000 and a HOF is Trammel but he is not Boss level. Heck Henderson would be better atleast he has speed and power. I could also see Alomar if they still have is rights I wish they would put out a list of who they lost this year.

It's Johnny Bench. Confirmed on Twitter. MS card for his 1,000th RBI in 1977.
So, I like them because they are great historical players and from an offline players perspective, their swings don't matter as much to me, but I imagine everyone else is not too enthusiastic.
So 1 more Boss and a 98 like the Fernando we got in the summer sizzling program.
My guess is Bob Gibson for the last Boss and some type of Flashback for the 98. How about a really good Trea Turner card or something similar.

Another Let down of a program Yay ….🥴

The 98 2H Mantle is the "1 Bonus 98 OVR player in Program Rewards" card and not the third boss!

Yeah. That's what I meant. Probably should've put that in my post.

After I posted it, I noticed the the other poster talked about both the 3rd boss and the 98 other reward and realized you meant that, but didn't edit the post because I'm eating a late lunch and watching other videos.

So Mantle hit 54 HR's in 1961 and was ahead of Maris when he got hurt towards the end of the season. Kudos to Maris for getting 61. So how does Mantle get a 98 and Ripken and Bench get a 99? This year's game is making less and less sense to me. I'll have to agree with joeythebigboss
-
Yea, I would rather have had a 99 Mantle than either Ripken or Bench.

2nd Half card vs Finest and Milestone. The 2nd half of that season was the worse half too for Mantle

I would gladly take a 93-96 Mantle and/or Griffey two months earlier and a 99 later….than this weird 98/99 thing going on right now.

I’m getting that same letdown feeling when I saw 2nd half Griffey Jr., at least it is a 98, so they will release the 99 much later.

Those 95s of players like Gehrig and Aaron and Mays were not used by too many people that I noticed last year when they released them. Gehrig was done dirty though. I don’t really remember if Mantle had one.
-
No doubt Bench will be my pick for Boss.

Gehrig had an amazing 99 last year. Bombs for days. Or do you mean the mid 90s card?
