Searching thru your binder

We all know that you can go into My Inventory and search for any card, sellable or non-sellable, by position that is in the game.
But does anyone know how they 'rank' cards with the same overall? Are they just random? Does the order ever change?
IE: right now of I search by Second Base the first page is as follows:
99s: Finest Retro Roberts and AS Jackie (in that order)
98: Lightning Biggio
97s: Finest Retro Maz, AS 22 Gimenez, Awards Baez, and Prime Ultey.
96:FS GormanNow with the 99s. Does that mean that Roberts is actually a better card than Jackie?
And the 97s are also in order with best to 'worst'?

Newest first maybe

I think it's just newest first. At least that makes sense based on the cards you listed

The "best" card is all from a certain point of view. Best in what attribute? I don't know how they rank them on the inventory page. It almost seems random to me at times.
To find out which card is best for what you want to use it for, your best bet is to download the database and then sort that by the attributes you want to pay attention to.

It could be Alphabetical

Yeah, I didn't mean BEST as in the best available. Just how I think they're listed.
I'm going to check later and see if maybe it changes like how the order on the main page of The Marketplace changes.
