Unfair matchups

Holy Christ. If you go through my game history in battle royale I’ve been facing all the top players in the world. It’s ridiculous. Battle royale has the most unfair matchups. And on top of that hitting is really bad after the update. Why am I playing such high level people in battle royale? I’m fairly new to this game still and I’m playing against people who have gotten GOAT banners at last twice. It’s insane. Is anyone having the same issue with matchmaking?

Matchmaking in BR is solely based on your current run, so if you just drafted, you are most likely facing someone else that just drafted etc.

BR right now is played by pure goons. Hopefully the next BR program is the free one like they had last year.

It's not just battle royale. I consistently get matched up against guys with records 200 over .500 and a lineup filled with .400 average 80 homer guys. I am something like 22-29. I should never see matchups this bad, but they happen all the time, and in almost every mode.
Edit to add that most of my wins have been rage quits by the other player.

You’re not. BR has a different ranking scale. Not sure exactly how it works, but obviously a “1700” in BR isn’t the same as a “1700” in Ranked Seasons.

They have free BR it’s called events. I love how this works so players are goons cause you can’t beat them? I’d say I’m .600 at BR. Still finish the program with ease. This weekend is my BR weekend. The other key is wait 7-10 days, The a lot of the best players are done and moved on
