August Retro Lightning hitter

It’s 3B Jim Thome. Devers,Riley,Brett? Not excited about this one but I’m sure this will make some people happy so cool for them.

Edit: Nope. It’s confirmed Thome. Jones would have been nice, though.

This selection really just doesn't make sense. Why give us another 3B right after Riley? With Brett and Riley, I have no use for this card.

Jim Thomas isn’t that exciting to me personally but a Posada would be cool.

In all seriousness I hope it's Posada but i doubt it seeing that we just got Craig Biggio and he has a secondary position of C. I'll have to see the numbers for the Jim Thome card but I'm not sure he even makes my lineup, great for collecting purposes though.

I will talk a Jim Thomas card though. Frank Thomas will Jim Thome swing. 🤯

Hahaha, oh is it super obvious? He does have 5 AS games and 1 silver slugger. Last year we didn't get a 99 Jim Thome until like October but I'm sure everyone will complain about another lefty first baseman.
Lastly, how do you guys know this stuff? I pride myself on knowing a lot of baseball history, I could probably recite the winner and loser of every WS going back to the early 50s but if you just say "this person had 5 All Star games" I wouldn't know where to begin. Now if it was something more rare like 16 gold gloves or 5 WS rings I could figure it out. But All Star Games? What's your secret?
Its called the internet. Put who won 5 gold gloves, etc in search and it magically gives you the answer you seek..amazing!
