cap not working properly

it says i have a cap catcher names ballplayer i’ve never made a catcher player i have a maxed out 99 ovr 2nd base primary player can’t use him just doesn’t show up i have him equipped in rtts and have him activated and still just the catcher named ballplayer shows up does anybody know how to fix this
if not i’m going to sds headquarters to give them a stern talking to
