Yea i do wish SDS would get rid player created stadiums for online play. Lately online is nothing but toxic folks... ridiculous stadiums, CAPs with in appropriate names, team names and logos.. i report them in game but i doubt anything gets done
I don't bother reporting, because they will never take action, yet someone buys stubs outside the game, they can't lifetime ban these people fast enough. Personally, I don't have a problem with them being banned for going around the system, but I have seen more than enough of the logo/name issues that should warrant some severe punishment, but that doesn't cost SDS any money, so they just let it go.
Regarding the created stadiums, I am on the PS4 so I haven't seen any thankfully.

I’m 2021 there were restrictions, now it’s play on what field you like who cares. Makes up for the hitting issues I guess

Main reason why once they stop making this game for the PS4 I won't play it anymore.

I’d rather play in a created stadium with more offense then a major league stadium with more lag and fly outs to the wall all day.
When they have a million things going on and cows and dinosaurs stacked up to the sky then that is quite annoying though.

Is having more offense at a created stadium really more fun though? I can't say I enjoy me or my opponents hitting pop ups for homers. That's not baseball

I just personally don’t enjoy a 2-1 game, win or lose. To each their own though.

People do get banned for names, logos, etc. They often come here to complain about it.

Are there really no restrictions on the stadiums this year or is it just that the restrictions are too lenient? I find it hard to believe that they would remove restrictions.

I haven’t spent too much time in the stadium creator, but there are still some restrictions such as having to use preset dimensions for outfield walls, but this year, you can change the height, where I don’t believe you could last year.
What I’d like to see is an optional matchmaking stadium filter, I wouldn’t mind waiting longer to find a game if it meant not playing in parks where every pop fly is a homerun.

Besides the elevation factor most stadiums look like [censored]. I believe that if someone is going to play in a created stadium then that someone should put a little effort into making it look nice.

People do this on purpose there’s a whole sub section of the community that relies on just lagging out games.

I saw on reddit a guy with a created stadium where the pitcher was on the edge of the shadow and everything else was in very dark shade. Those types should be banished to their own little division of dirtbags that can't play legitimately.

This happens if your stadium has a roof and you play in October.

I just finished mine and will only use it for RS, the dimensions are 365-415-375 at1500 ft elevation.
If you hit it good it’s gone, if not flyout, also there will be a lot of doubles and some triples there if you can put in the gap. I don’t recommend slow outfielders to play there.

I will test it tomorrow online on HOF and adjust the elevation if it doesn’t reward good input enough

I wish custom stadiums were banned in ranked DD. Those should be allowed vs CPU, mini seasons, and the other non DD modes.
I used to hate not being able to create or use custom created stadiums on the base Xbox one. Now I'm glad I can't. That means when I play DD I won't get matched with those players with cheap stadiums. I'd rather play shippit, laughing whatever or the Rockies stadium.

Also I know players use cheap custom stadiums on mini seasons to get easy exp and stubs. I'm ok with that.

There are restrictions for stadiums. I have 2 that I use for mini seasons that I can't online because they're too short. I have one that is shorter and high elevation and I find it fun because personally I don't like pitching duels. I like homeruns even if that means I lose the game because of my quirky field. I'd rather play someone's created stadium over Shippett and Coors field every game.
